Don't draft defenseman except in late rounds and every other year.

Sign college free agents.

Give every man last named Nolan a job.

Draft smart players who have a brian that skates faster than they're think.

With baptiste having a little finish up here, and the way they seemed to like pu last year, and oloffsson scoring overseas, and probably having another rw coming in i would bet bailey is the odd man out when all is said and done.

At the beginning of the year, I was just hoping that ONE of Baptiste, Bailey, or Fasching would work out in the NHL. Until recently, I was feeling like it was gonna be 0-3.

Bailey has the speed the Sabres are sorely lacking. But i haven't seen too much else from him. He has been hurt this year, but I'm nagged by the feeling that I'm trying to talk myself into seeing him as a very good prospect.
