That doesn't feel like it's remotely possible this summer. - Lunaion
I could see Arizona maybe taking it. We would have to add a pretty nice sweetener tho.

Of course. But he should be healed well before June. - TheSabresTaco
I don't think that's true, but I'll admit, I haven't checked for any kind of update.

I think Ror to Phili is real.
They have a bunch of good young defenseman.
They are a bubble team, he could put them in a playoff spot.
Still makes the most sense with nj or Pitt being the likely trade partners. Jbotts connections - Boss34
Anyone not wearing #15 is available but I don't think ROR is one they want to move, now anything is possible. |

Filpula and Provorov for ROR. As the base of the deal. That'd be mega. But you also don't know what you have in CM yet. That's a huge risk. - TheSabresTaco

Duclair Seems to have potential but I wasn't thrilled with trying to get him however, why not it can't hurt. - SABRES 89
High end? Meaning a hockey trade and not just selling off UFA's? Just curious what you meant. |

I think you might have quoted they wrong post of mine, high end meaning, no more 7 or 8 mill a year contracts as of now until Botterill figures out his vision of the team going forward. |

Sure no problem, I can agree with that, the last thing we need is anymore big contracts until this team starts showing some progress. |

I'd move ROR. Not because he not a good hockey player. I just don't think he justifies the 7.5 salary he carries. I've state my opinion on him a couple years ago that I wanted him gone. Team needs to wash themselves of GMTM period. |

Could Nash actually have more value than Kane?
Kane has zero playoff experience and a history of injuries. Just thinking out loud here |

do you have a vid or two (or audio) you could share with us about him changing the subject?
be interesting to hear and/or see - Michael Pachla
There is none. When it was mentioned to him he said he loved Buffalo but wanted to concentrate on college at this point (before this year). |

Will Borgen will never be a Sabre. He will finish school and become a FA. Whenever a reporter mentions Buffalo to him, he always changes the subject. Unfortunate for the Sabres but true. - mikes1519
If this is true. GMJB needs to find out this summer, hope Borgen dominates in the Olympics, and trade his rights while he can still get something for him. |

I wouldn't deal Provorov straight up for Eichel, let alone ROR and throw in Filppula.

You might not be willing to trade Provorov for Eichel, but your GM would do it in a heartbeat. He would also add Patrick and your 1st this year with no problem. |

I love Provorov and loved him in his draft year, Saying that, you'd be the only person in the world who wouldn't trade him for Eichel. check please........ |
