So justin anything else on the burners that you are hearing? Would Toronto trade gardiner for Seabrook if the hawks retained 2 mill per year for 5 years hawks still would gain some cap space about a million for one year then if hawks don't resign gardnier then it becomes 4.8 mill per year thoughts

I doubt Toronto would think about that trade at all. Gardiner is younger and better than Brent Seabrook and likely won't even get paid as much as Seabrook after the 2019 season when his contract runs out.

That's pretty cool. And leaves me wondering that young Mr Kane is quite a bit more of a leader than we all realize...

DiDomenico, 28, played in 74 games with the Icehogs from 2010-2012, scoring 17 points (two goals, 15 assists). He then played with Asiago in Italy from 2012-14 before playing parts of four seasons with the SCL Tigers in the Swiss Hockey League from 2014-17.

The Blackhawks originally acquired DiDomenico and Viktor Stalberg from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for Kris Versteeg in June 2010. He has played just 24 games with the Senators this season, tallying 10 points (six goals, four assists). Prior to this season, he had just three games of NHL experience, all with the Senators in 2016-17.

Huh? Soshnikov has basically done nothing in the league and has been given plenty of opportunity. Maybe he's the next Richard Panik and goes to St. Louis and produces, but then.... you'd have to give credit to Stan for making the Panik trade and in the end of that cycle, turning Jeremy Morin into Anthony Duclair.
