wish Pokka would get back more, but that ship has sailed long time ago.

Only wish someone could have loaded Stan on-board before it set sail.

I'm not a big fan of either, but Laz and Tracey discussing the state of the team, including some behind-the-scenes takes on the atmosphere in the locker room (like a morgue/confidence completely gone), Saad and what's going on there, who should stay/go, etc.

Lots of annoying chit chat (IMO), but some interesting comments.

Honestly don't care -- Pokka WAS a p.o.s. as I've stated here many times before.
Slow footed and NOT an NHL defender.
I agree, at least Blowman didn't give away Kempny (who I do think IS an NHL defender and given the right coaching, could be a 2nd pair guy).

Just pointing out that this was the ultimate conclusion I saw way back when so much of the talk here was about Pokka being some great prospect. It was all poppycock then, confirmed now.

And just another example of Stan with his learner's permit (which BTW, I believe he still has). Hope Rocky has good insurance.

You're a moron. You cal the guy a pos because you don't like him? Why don't you go to NY and gargle Leddy's balls you fvcking dipsh!t.

Soshnikov has had a bunch of injuries but when healthy is good enough to be on this current Hawks roster. Blues gave up a 4th for him which is cheap; Bowman won't ever select a player as good as him with any 4th rounder he has in his GM lifetime.

This guy will fit nicely in the STL system. You can't watch a game and not notice this bottom 6er.

I'm not about to call Soshnikov a star in the making, but he's a good young physical player who got hurt and is still on the injury list (Lou L's way of hiding him), because there is no room for him on the Leafs roster.

Doug Armstrong knew who he was and figured he was worth a 4th and the Leafs get to subtract a body off there maxed out 50 man roster. Stan gets a never will be.

Huh? Soshnikov has basically done nothing in the league and has been given plenty of opportunity. Maybe he's the next Richard Panik and goes to St. Louis and produces, but then.... you'd have to give credit to Stan for making the Panik trade and in the end of that cycle, turning Jeremy Morin into Anthony Duclair.

You are Right There! I like Duclair.

Well Jesus christ all this guy does is cry about Nick Leddy. It was a bad trade but let's not pretend Leddy is Nicklas Lidstrom

Oesterle you cannot get your shot blocked there! Great play by Kempny on the resulting 3v1.

Just add one good player at a time no matter what position he plays or line he skates. This guy checks a lot of boxes. Is willing, energy, will hit people, solid skater and reasonable bottom 6 skill: http://www.eliteprospects...m/player.php?player=94676

If you go after Osterlie there, you have to go after Keith for his shot into shin pads about 30 seconds earlier that led to a breakaway.

Oh yes, also a bad play. But I've come to expect it from Mr. Shinguard #2.

EDIT: #2 shot it right into the Duck logo on the delayed penalty.

And Keith again killing that delayed possession - shooting right into the goalie with no Hawk going to the net and no chance in Hell of scoring.

Rumor has it Q was mad that Wingels was not allowed to sing the anthem. That is why he sat Duclair and Hinostroza last game.

Curious if Dcat knew on his own to bring the puck out of the Ozone on the delayed penalty to kill the rest of the Duck PP or he was told....... That's some high IQ hockey.

What's the Duncan Keith next goal office pool looking like?

Is he using a paper machete stick?

Kempny is the real deal. Should have had more ice time all year. Guy does nothing but play hard and smart.

So, watch Stan trade him.

Two things I called last year..ADB and Hayden. I saw ADB a lot of Erie (my son played hockey in D1 club up in Mercyhurst) and I called him to break camp with Hawks...Ditto for Hayden. BOTH of these kids should be part of the next wave. PERIOD. BOTTOM LINE.

I'd like to see Kempny under another coach. Not sure, if they decide to keep Q, that he won't be continually boomeranging back and forth from the doghouse again. Why would he want to sign here?
