What's your point? So he thought the Leddy trade was garbage. Who doesn't? The subject came up because Pokka was traded for someone with no NHL potential (on a normal team, maybe bottom 6 for us), meaning Leddy was traded for nothing.
I'm not saying Leddy is a HOF d man, but he's unquestionably a top 4, and top 2 on many teams, including this one. It would have been nice to get more for him.
Personally, I would rather look to the future than lament the past, but just because they choose to, doesn't mean you attack them personally.

it's a weird time to be a Hawks fan. I was really happy for Keith and then Saad that they got their goals. Then the Ducks answered and I was thinking, "here we go." then a couple more goals and I'm thinking about the lottery. Good for 2 and 20 though, they both needed that. Nice pass from Vinnie too.

Fixed. Hawks need to start resting the vets. Build for next year. Maybe get 2, 7 and 19 a last run, develop the kids, get 50 healthy and make a one last ditch effort. Would hate to wear more tread off 2, 19 and 7 tires in these meaningless games.

This "regime" of hockey operations does not have the best track record with D.

A total of 40 guys have "worn" the sweater from 2010 forward.

The guys with talent, with skill, with heart are far and few between. This club (and Q) has been blessed with a few of the best in the league in their prime (Keith, Seabrook and Hjalmarsson).

But there are plenty of misses -- and enough guys that have been mishandled by this organization. Playing John Scott at D (not even on this list or listed as a D man). Signing Steve Montador to a big contract. Re-signing Rundblad when it was evident to everyone that knew anything that the guy had no heart.

Talk amongst yourselves -- there's plenty of names on this list and I'm sure most can spot the misses easily.

I don't think this organization is necessarily the best at seeing potential in the right guys. I'd say over the past 2 years, they've really mishandled Kempny. And have overvalued Murphy's skills, along with Q's flavor of the day Oesterle.

2-0 lead and a perfect #TANK finish with the 3-2 regulation loss. This team is laughably bad. Physically I thought 19 was skating as well as I've seen in a while, but he still made a bunch of turnovers. Really nice move by Richie on that goal. One loss closer to a Top 5 pick!!
