I haven’t read anything Ek or Garth have written in about 5years

I’ll stick to what Homie & 89 have to say

I'm not trying to knock you fitz,

But you have aspirations of traveres, dahlin and carlson, but your worried about Casey making it in the nhl.

Seams like your a bit over the top positive, but then a little too much negative on casey.

- Boss34

I don’t think I’m negative on Casey at all
I’m just not assuming he’ll be a legit 2C right away
Don’t think there’s anything wrong with that
If he is... GREAT
But if not...
I’m not gonna overreact & call him a bust bc he isn’t amazing right away
And u know some ppl on here will do that

As far as Tavares, Carlson, etc...
those are just pipe dreams
Very unlikely any would choose to sign here

Dahlin is a decent possibility though
One I’m definitely hopeful for

If we get dahlin that could break the curse.

Similar to Kyle Williams running the td in.
Curse breaking win.
I'm not getting my hopes up

Fair enough

Assuming Mittelstadt makes the team next year
What role do u see him in?
And what numbers do u think he puts up?

How could he fumble it?

The return for Kane will be as high as he can get
It’s not like he’ll be able to talk some GM into some crazy return
If any fan expects that, then that’s on them

If all we end up getting is a 2nd & a prospect...
well that’ll suck
But i won’t blame Botts
It’ll just be what the market would bear

The only way Botts could screw it up is by taking a worse prospect from team a, instead of a better prospect from team b...
but we won’t know how that plays out for a couple years

What do u mean by Botts “fumbling” it?

What kind of trade(s) would get that designation from you?

- jdfitz77

What i mean by fumbling it is not trading pouliot and then not extending him and letting him walk, or not trading georges for a 4th and getting nothing for him(a la gmtm with kulikov) or kane getting injured before he can trade him, or getting a poopty prospect that doesnt ever pan out. I dunno, its all for the sake of conversation, its not like he can do no wrong, theres plenty of opportunity in this business to (frank) up. Thats all im saying. Its widely agreed that gmtm (frank)ed up last year at the deadline.
What if he takes a 2nd and a b prospect for kane and then reports come in that he turned down a first and a better peospect a month ago? Would that not be considered him fumbling it? In the end its all just conjecture at this point.

There's less than a 10% chance of landing Dahlin. I don't let my head go there.

Hope is a nightly thing . She looks like hell during the day. Few beers and she's an 8 with good expectations

I guess we’ll see...
but for me to get mad at Botts,
I’d have to hear that he turned down an offer now that ended up being significantly better than what he gets at the deadline

I think it’ll be a pretty good return
Hoping for a good prospect & a 1st

Someone’s gotta “win” him
We will probably end up with the 2nd best odds to get Dahlin

Fingers crossed
He could move us a pretty big step in the right direction

I see him with either eichel or if jbotts moves ror, #2 center. Anywhere in the top 6. Mitts-ror- okposo?

Eichel
Ror
Okposo
Sam.

Not sure if there is more talent here currently. He's a #5 or 6 forward,
In buffalo.

Sure I'm hopeful, but guys come in and play all over the league. Brock boeser, matt barzal. That type who comes in and plays like an nhl guy. Johnny hockey rookie year.

In my opinion and hopes

Probably 40 points. Sam #'s
