I know the %'s. The odds on finishing 30th are only about 50% right now. 31st about 25%.

In my mind, we're picking 5th. If it ends up higher, I'll be happy. If it's lower, I'll be disappointed.

I'm a little more conservative on Nelson. He's a 7th to me, which means playing near full time with Bogo still on the team. Honestly, even projecting him on the team next year is a feel good story. Very happy for him.

I get what you're saying, "Buffaluck" is always in the back of everyone's mind. But, I'm excited for the next wave of prospects, they seem better than what we're used to. Oloffson, Asplund, Pu, Borgen, and even Glotov will surprise next year. Murray couldn't trade for crap, but he might have actually hit on some late round picks.

I think he’s got a chance to put up 60 next year
I’m just not gonna be too disappointed or call him a bust if he doesn’t

That’s all I’m saying
I don’t think that’s being negative

I’ve watched a lot of USA players Casey , TK ,Wise

Casey is just on another level when he plays it’s hard to explain but if you don’t watch him closely and just look at his points it gives you the wrong indication He is literally everywhere on the ice it’s insane how good he is ( has that Jack Eichel syndrome where his team does not help out )

I’m going to be pissed if we don’t get the number one but if we land Z He’s going to be that franchise winger for jack that we’ve been looking for

I agree. There should be a nice wave of prospects coming in next year. They might not factor in Buffalo, but it should be nice competition in Rochester and push the current crop. We badly need a few non-first rounders to over achieve. A couple more college FA's would help too.

I can’t decide who i like more between him & Svechnikov

I’d be happy with either if we pick 2 or 3

If we pick 4th,
I’d consider Boqvist over Tkachuk

That’s what I’m thinking too

Or even trade the pick for a good young defenseman

If cousins is choosing, it's Denver.

Great ownership
A stable franchise
Talented wide receivers
Super bowl caliber d.

$ may talk though.
Arizona has nice weather

- Boss34

I could see him going to Minnesota. Although as a Broncos fan is hoping he signs with us as well

We getting Z

I would hate to be the one having to choose between him and Svechnikov. I love both players personally. I think Zadina has that Kucherov flair to his game. Svechnikov’s even scoring rate though in the OHL is at a historic pace on a Barrie team with not much star power. Or does Buffalo go Boqvist who might take a couple years but could be the next Karlsson. It’s a tough call

Who knows any of the 2019 NFL draft eligible QBs? Nobody, but even the casual fan knew who Darnold, Jackson, Rosen, Allen and Mayfield were this time last year. If ever a year to move up

They were talking about Darnold & Rosen at the beginning of last year
Rosen was ranked higher, but got hurt
They were being hyped during their freshman years even

All of this^^^
Ive watched every minute of every game hes played this year. He does poop every game that makes me rewind it a couple times and leaves the announcers almost speechless. I am being cautiously optimistic for his first year in the league but i almost am expecting him to be a game changer after the lockout when we really need him to be good. Fingers crossed he and a couple other prospects can make it happen come 2020.

Part of why I have hope for Nylander is when he played up here last year for those 3 or 4 games or whatever was that while he didn't wow everyone, he made some really smart timing plays, I remember one where he was in the O-Zone down in the corner and backhand sauced it back to the point where no one was, but was moving to. Perfect timing on it. Nothing came of it, I don't even think the subsequent shot hit the net, but he made a few other plays like that that show he absolutely has the skill to do it.

I don't know what happened this year. I haven't watched a second of Americans games, but I do know that he had a pretty bad injury in the prospect's tourney that continued a few weeks into the regular season before he was able to be sent down. They never said what it was, so it could be nagging him still. But the nagging thing is pure speculation.

Hopefully he can come into camp next year and show something.

We are the 2nd worst team in the league.
Worst in scoring.

I really can't see how he wouldn't put up Sam #'s or better. 40 plus. Hopefully 60.

No matter what my answer is, you are ready to disagree.

You want a kid to do something jack hasn’t done yet? I think you asking way to much here.

He has a lot of talent. He just needs to figure it out. Hopefully he does. I dont know much about his nagging injuries. Hopefully his problem is just a nagging injury and he comes out next year healthy and starts to turn the corner.

Seems like a lot of ppl are expecting him to be like Barzal or Boesser right away

He might do that
I just hope ppl don’t jump all over him & call him a bust if he only puts up 40pts

Now why is that?

Beat Canada in Outdoor game
Have a great young nucleus of players - Bellows & Middelstad were 1st team and player of the Tourney
Won a bronze
Other teams - U18 & U17 teams won their World Showcases

*Girls team will win a Gold Medal this Olympics (I know they lost last night to Canada, out played them and outshot them 45-23).

USA Hockey is very strong......

If your saying because Johnson passed away, Jr Team lost, this years Olympic team is not competitive (Look at NHL for that, not USA Hockey).

Disagree, but its just so easy to be negaitive on this site!

if casey doesn't score 35 goals and get 45 assists i will be so pissed......

but honestly, i wouldn't be surprised if Botts has him go back to college for another year.

i do feel like the bronze at the world jrs was a disappointment and the olympics could easily be medalless.. but the women should get gold and there are some young studs in USA hockey
