Tough to get fired up (one way or the other) about a position coach |

Should do the same thing with Nylander. - TheSabresTaco
I've watched Nylander play a bunch this year...he isn't anywhere near as bad as he's made out to be. People see his lack of production and have labeled him a bust. I see a lot of talent from him when he plays and a lack of maturity/vision. That can be learned, his skating and passing are impeccable.
I don't think sending him to the SHL would help his development either. You do? What's the big perk? |

The Canucks are an emotional franchise. They'll die there. - TheSabresTaco
I’m trying to figure out what playoff team could even take them both and slot them into the top9
The Sedins are still good players,
so they’d be a good add for just about anyone
As long as the cost was decent
They’d certainly allow a good team to roll 4 lines
And they’d anchor a PP2 unit that should be good, if not add to a team’s top unit
How about the Pens?
Imagine that lineup...
wow

Talent needs to turn into production at some point though. His main criticism since he was drafted has been his play away from the puck and being too much of a perimeter player. How has his defensive game been? Is he a factor without the puck? or is he only skilled at passing and skating? |

I do. Because it's clear that he's not developing correctly in the AHL. If playing a year in the SHL to gain confidence and grow his game will help him the most, then you do what you need to do to develop an expensive asset. |

@EricGalko of Optimum Scouting: Bills were aggressively scouting the top college qb's this season. people around NFL telling him Bills are high on Josh Rosen. says he is "the apple of their eye"
Would have to trade up to #2 would cost a fortune..we'll see

I really hope that is right. There were reports about them liking Darnold the summer before. Rosen is my boy. He's a big dog. Will take a couple years for them to get the rest of the pieces if they do it though. He isn't going into a Carson Wentz Philadelphia situation that already had top 5 line in the league. I'm good with waiting if it means Rosen, but only Rosen. |

Check the archive. I laid out the blue print. Will take one of the best roster players currently on the Bills. Might be Shady, hope it would be Glenn. |

Maybe even #1
I do like Rosen
But will he be Brett Favre,
or just Jay Cutler? |

Nate Breske was let go from Chicago because of the sheer amount of long term injuries the Bears had the past two years. So that's exciting. |

Giants have the 2nd ? - SABRES 89
Yes. Check this out. This is how I see it being possible using the Eagles trades to get up high enough to get Wentz as the barometer.
Von Dudensteins, if you can get to 6, you can get to 1. Cousins to Denver is a dream come true for Bills fans that want the best QB in the draft. Eagles moved up to 8 from 13 to get to 2 to draft Wentz. Some how making one of the worst contracts in Football at the time disappear. Howie Roseman looks like a magician now, but it can be done. I didn’t do the Math, but using those trades as a gauge, both 1sts, both 2nds and a good roster player gets it done to number one. U might have a shot at keeping one of the 2nds. Cleveland at 1 and 4 helps even more. The negotiating has to be squared away before the draft.
I like Rosen the best, he had a tough few years and from what I saw of him he had to deal with pressure, but his style reminds me of A-Rod. Rosen is lowest amongst the bunch in accuracy and I’m hoping it’s partially due to what I gathered from the eye test. Meanwhile Mayfield is Drew Brees accurate and has been entire career. |

Yep
And they need a replacement for Eli
Can’t see them trading all the way down to 21 unless they really like Rudolph or think Lamar Jackson could fall to them |

i member when the Redskins spent a "treasure trove of premium draft picks" to the Rams for RGIII when in reality the better qb was one 4th rounder, Kirk Cousins. |

They don't have to trade back to 21 dip poop. There aren't any rules preventing the Bills from trading up twice. Short sighted. |

He definitely seems to float around the outside on the PP, but 5v5 I've seen him drive to the net more often. He lacks strength, most of the defenders seem to muscle him off the puck when he does. That to me, again, can be corrected with strength training.
So to answer the question, his defensive game isn't the best but has been improving...his strength needs work and could help him in both ends I think. |

Wonder what bar they’ll find him in? |
