100% "Gallysano" wouldn't let him negotiate mid-season/the year before deals were up like when Briere allegedly said he would do 4x$4M during the year before his post lockout deal was up, so they could also keep Drury, but Darcy wasn't allowed to do deals ahead of time. Then he signed that 1 for $5M the next year and the rest is history.

He was the President in the early 90's (pre Rigas) then was the managing partner/acting president (post Rigas) and was then given a partial stake in ownership later like 3% or something

Well there's a lot of instances of them kicking fans/phones out of their hands at shows. But one of my friends who works at a bar said the vocalist came in with a bunch of people, bought them all shots, made a big deal about who he was, then left without paying

He is very good. I was reading the sharks thread where they said they have another offensive defenseman in the system, and it's tough to work him in with Burns. Then I looked at his contract amount and length. It's gonna be questionable in 4years at 8 mil imo

That's the thing. They'd probably be selling high, so you'd have to give up a ton, but you know that the back end of the contract could look bad.
