Okay, to clarify, I thought we would be a bottom feeder but for the most part be 50/50 on goals for and goals against, while still managing to lose games instead of win them.

Instead, we've allowed just under 200 goals against and scored less than 150 goals for.

I expected somewhere around 175/175 give or take. Pretty much like the Islanders this season, except finding ways to lose instead of win.

What really bothers me is how outdated some of these core guys look. Most of them appear to be guys who were trained to be successful in the old nhl not the new despite being u-25 when they got here.

I dont agree on Eichel, i think he gets lost in his own sometimes simply cause he just doesnt do well there. But Ristolainen definitely. Its not like hes a dumb player or lacks talent, justhat t he literally plays the game like it's 2001. Reinhart and O'Reilly do to some extent as well.

You bring up his kid's name and his marital status which is clearly beyond good taste.

if we didn't have ror, we would be in 32nd place instead of 31st place


and there is a good chance we still end up in 32nd place

I’m a Lutheran. We believe God wants us to have kids before we’re married.

And it’s all very very important to how we Lutherans play hockey.

This is now 2 coaches, 2 GM's and a slew of new players and still .. the Sabres cannot put together a consistent effort from game to game.

You look at a team like the Sharks and they can bring in new guys, a new coach and they don't miss a beat. They might have a stinker once every 8 games or so but they come out to play every night. That's everyone by the way ... all through the lineup.

I've said it before and I'll say it again ...........for some reason it is very, very difficult to find players that can actually thrive in Buffalo. Every decade or so the powers that be are able to bring in enough guys to make the team competitive but it's quite rare as everyone can see. There's ONE GUY on this team that is actually playing close to his potential and an argument could be made he would be way better anywhere else. Must be something in the water in Buffalo ..........

People jumped at my throat for the past 2 years over it but I can't say it enough, this mess is Pegula's fault almost 100%. He's a meddling fan of an owner who fires everyone quicker than his pre-mature ejaculations.
