Sorry, that wasn't directed at you, more so Lunaion (no offense either). While I agree we should play him more, I think he's doing just fine with the amount we have already seen. Players need development, even at 25. He was horrible in the fall, but now I agree he should see more ice time. At least with the season we're having, why not?

I don't take it personally. He's showed a flash here and there. He hasn't lived up to my expectations, but hopefully he has turned a corner and finishes strong.

I don't understand why some players are relentlessly attacked and other are adamantly defended. This is a bad team, and almost no one has met their personal expectations this year. When someone doesn't get ice time on this team, I just can't give it a positive spin.

I have to say, just like everything Sabres related, my hope for a savior GM is turning into fear we might just be in for some more suffering.

Absolutely zero chance Botteril pitched another tank year to Pegula and he said "Sounds good!"

Stop with this, it's denial and a coping mechanism. We are simply terrible and playing Gorges and Bulion-cube over Antipin or Josefson, Larsson and Girgensons over Baptiste, Bailey and Rodriguez isn't going to make a difference in the standings but okay.

I have no problem admitting it. I'm over this group. I have some hope for the next wave of prospects (Guhle, Asplund, Mittlestadt, etc.). I think they need another transition year, unfortunately.

I don’t count ROR and Reinhart in the long term plans.
In fact I want Reinhart out yesterday, in fact trade him to one of Florida or Arizona...he can hit the bong hard there and play 1/3rd of the season ... nobody will notice.
ROR actually produces ok, in fact I absolutely loved him the first year plus...but he is way to slow and if Casey takes the 2C which I fully expect...then $7.5 on the 3rd is way, way too much.

trade ROR's overpriced ass and keep Sam at a 3rd of that celery. Find a younging thats good at faceoffs and pot a goal here and there and you have a younger Ror.
