I don't think we can criticize Botts on how he handled this TDL until the TDL ends. Who knows, maybe he'll turn out to be the next Scotty Bowman at the TDL? Now, if Kane, Pouliot and others get injured between now and then or he ends up with a 3rd rounder and nothing prospect for Kane, then he will deserve full criticism.

We already trade Compher who seems to be a younger version of RoR to get O'reilly. No way should we trade Casey in any package for Kane. Kane's approaching the wrong side of 30 and has played an awful lot of hockey over the past decade, his 10.5M contract could end in burying us.

The Atlantic 10 is streaming its games on Facebook Live. I am watching the St. Bonaventure game on it right now. Pretty decent quality. The NFL started streaming its Thursday Night games on Amazon, and some of the London games on Twitter. I know the NHL has been doing things on Yahoo! for a while, but I wonder if it will go the Social Media live streaming route.

Yeah, I would say it's more of a draft day move. P.Kane is great and will be a HOF, but his past is irrelevant, the only thing that matters is what's left in the tank while he would dawn a Sabres jersey. I'm not so sure I love taking on that contract for a what would be a ton of assets. If kane were to start slowing down like so many players do once they hit 30, he would cripple this team and end up ruining Jacks's best years. I'll stick with Mittelstadt-Eichel-Zadina moving forward.
