Kids shouldn't have to hear swearing at a sabres game. When you have kids, you will understand. That's why I do not bring my son to the bills games.
You sign up for what goes on (on the ice) when you purchase the ticket - Boss34
So swearing is off limits, but physical violence is fine? I went to the ACC when the leafs played the Sabres in '98 as an 8 year old. I'm sure there were f-bombs flying. I understood that I wasn't allowed to swear in my house. It's not like I went to that game and came home a drunken sailor |

This.
These kids these days with this sh!t "pop" music. It's garbage. Eff the next generation. Everybody likes rock. It doesn't have to be (frank)ing Slayer, but play some hard rock, too. Get the arena pumping. Their PP song should be Creeping Death or something. Their goal song, make it Live Wire from Motley Crue. (just spitballing here, but you get my drift). - Powerslave
They have been playing enter sand man when the sabres enter the ice. Loud |

when does anyone admit they are wrong on this site? - homiedclown
I was wrong about Lehner. And I was wrong when i thought they were going to be good this year.
But I still think they're closer than most people think. It's a critical mass thing. |

Yes, swearing loud enough for kids to hear, should be off limits.
Common sense.
If/When you have kids, you will see a different prospective.

Nashville is trying to do something like this also...
They need to do more to get people from out of town into town and vice versa.
Right now the train goes from Lebanon, TN to downtown Nashville and back.
It needs to branch out to Brentwood, Franklin, West Nashville, East Nashville, etc...
Traffic is awful here. Soon we will be just like Atlanta. - jochfr
Nashville is my silvertown, when I decide to be an adult that’s where I’m heading.

Makes sense since they're usually asleep to start the game.
I hate the arena atmosphere but most of it does have to do with the crappy product on the ice. Tunes have gotten a little better over the last couple years. |

What do you say when a player misses a shot and skates back to the bench and yells "F@##!" Nothing personal but this is why games suck to go to as a 20-something. Fans turn around and look at you when you participate in chants. Fans police each other. I'm sure your son/daughter hears all of this on the playground. I will never understand how swearing is even on the same level as a fight. To me, a kid understands that John Scott trying to pulverize a guy doesn't mean they can do it too, and some drunk college kid swearing doesn't mean they can do it.
This is why KBC is a morgue |

I agree, the sabres still have an old strong "aud" crowd.
I think is tough to blast them out.
Sabres goal song needs to go
Sabres need to play more hard rock/ heavy metal, like power said. Metallicca, maiden, rush

I see your side, I was 20's at one point going to the games. Ripping beers down.
The violence is not good for kids to see, but no need for both swearing and violence.
My son plays hockey, so I'm sure he hears it.
As a parent you try and keep the environment respectable when your around.
Not trying to be an old fuddy duddy, but there should be some respect factor around kids.
Things you really do not even envision until you have kids,
Not a knock on You

I imagine their emotions run a little deeper playing a professional sport then with timmy's uncle having (4) $12 beers. |

IMO this proves my theory that your top 4 d is more important than your goalie
not a knock on Miller, but his numbers are up big time as a duck than his last 8 years |

No, no. You fill a water bottle with liquor and take the train down, and then buy 1 or 2 at the game. At least that was my early 20s... |
