My useless information as usual. Was told a few hours ago that Kane discussions are heating up pretty good and we're trying to see if we can get a little more out of it. If history repeats itself with the information I am given/relay, nothing will happen! Figured worth mentioning for something to talk about, although redundant.
Nelson could be moved: especially if he's a ufa - Boss34
He's listed as an RFA. Trading him after his last 15 games or so, IMO, would be a big mistake. If he's added into a trade for a better D-man, fine, but if he's swapped out for a pick or a forward I'll have some JBotts criticism ready.
Gorges may get moved after all. What was our bet? That he wouldn't get more than a 5th right? You could be right on that, I'm still hoping you are.

Happy Wednesday.

In the mid 1980's, I was dumb enough and young enough and immortal enough to think that Friday afternoons (into Saturdays) were made better with a combination of a 15mg Valium washed down with a big old fraction of a bottle of Jim Beam Green Label Bourbon. I used to call that intoxicant - and it was a HELL of an intoxicant - a Ball Peen Hammer.
Joe Walsh's solo career was an inspiration for me in those days. I'm very fond of this guy.
However you view the importance of the Olympics. The past tournaments with nhl ers was awesome hockey. And many in the world get very excited over it including the players. id actually say all the players actually. This present tournament isn't bad at all. It is what it is. As usual here in Canada we have easy access to it on tv. After all hockey is our religion as you know. The u.s. as a whole obviously has no interest in hockey. So be it. Very sad however with the high end team the U.S. now can field. A team worthy and capable of beating us north of the 49th parallel.

Been explained here several times over the last few days. He'll be a type 6 UFA. It's triggered by him not accruing enough NHL games, and many sites don't consider that there aren't enough games left for him to play in.
