Interesting to see Lack getting traded to the Devils at the top of this attachment. The year we gave up a 1st for Lehner i wanted to give up a 3rd for Eddie Lack. We would have still had our 1st to use on player "X" and we would still be exactly where we are today - out of the playoffs.

IMO Bennett will be a 20/20 guy over a full season and honestly kid has played 77, 81, and (as of now) 62 gp has n consecutive season. I'd rather take the lottery ticket on him than Shinkaruk.


Also the kid the Rags got has been a full timer in the KHL the past 2 years and is only 20. He's a b level prospect.

If he caps off as a guy on line 3,
it’s unlikel he’d be able to get enough icetime to be that 20goal guy

And i also think we have a lot of guys coming who could be good 3rd liners

I don’t hate the idea
I’d just rather get a defenseman prospect with high upside instead

I think he can get there. I don’t think it’s a bad idea at all.

He’s versatile. Can play some C/LW. Has 8 5 on 5 goals which is pretty good for 3rd line minutes.
