When we gave up 5 assets for Kane and Bogo, the expectations were 30+ goals 50-60 points at the minimum.

There were articles written about whether he would score 40 goals or not.

If anyone claims these weren’t the expectations after we got him, they are lying

Homie's "15 minutes" comment really got you going, didn't it?

Casey isn't really a speedster. Not that he's slow as molasses either.
- buffalofan19

He's faster than Reinhart, but seems to have better hands than the others. IMO he's the best fit we have in this organization outside, maybe, who we draft this offseason.

More mental health awareness, less prescription drugs IMO
- Stripes77

For kids, yes.

For adults they work wonders once you find the right ones. I have a friend who was an undiagnosed schizophrenic, long story short, bad poop happened, he found the right meds and is now a productive member of society.

I think they will run Jack ROR and Casey down the middle
- Stripes77

Always say we should have 3 rolling lines for the most part. That gets it done, I just don't know where all these scoring wingers are gonna come from.

You're fake news

It's not wrong

Eichel knows what he is thinking, he sees the game in a different light than everybody else on the team (kind of like Crosby does) the main difference is Crosby knows what his teammates are thinking and Jack isn't at that level yet

I'm cautiously optimistic with him. I loved his play in the WJC, but the jaded Buffalo fan in me remembered that Cody Hodgson once led that tournament in scoring.

Well that on you bro for having those expectations... I can only speak for myself, I expected 25-30 goals, because frankly that is historically what he scored... If we got more then that BONUS... I can't for one minute complain about what we gave up. I applauded the trade then and still do today. I would rather swing and miss like Murray did, then to never take the bat off my shoulders like Darcy did.

I can agree to that.

I think the amount of Ritalin that has been prescribed in this country is outrageous

I remember when I was in 4th or 5th grade the doctor wanted to put me on it because I couldn't sit still. My mother said no thankfully. I was just bored at school because I wasn't challenged enough.

Every kids has ADHD now it seems.

The pharmaceutical companies are in doctors pockets and it's disgusting.

You want to fix health care there's where you start, I would be willing to bet it would help fix a lot of this country's issues with violent teenagers.

Cautiously optimistic is the only way to be. I remember thinking Estephan could be a decent late round gem...

Still, with Casey having watched about 10 of his NCAA games, he makes amazing plays every game and usually at least one per shift. I THINK he will be something special. If he is, he'd be riding shotgun with Jacky boy.

Still need another winger for him if Reinhart isn't it.

First of all it's bullies not bully's.

Second of all that is incorrect.

There isn't a person out there that hasn't been bullied in their life. But only now these shootings are happening?

Get informed please.

I agree about swinging for the fences. In the end though, he ended up producing like a tougher, faster Stafford. His highlight here was probably beating up that Panthers kid 3 times in one game

Botterill is learning the hard way and if he doesn't learn soon he'll go the way of Murray/Regier. Kane should have been moved during or before Christmas break. Jason had his chance to get the most out of this cancerous turd.

Now let's see if Botterill can get a few more stench bombs out of the locker room including Girgensons, Larsson, Pouliet and then players who have had several chances to make the team which include Bailey, Fasching and Baptiste. These players are 4th liners at best on a championship team and should be offered as tradable players.

Perhaps even look at players such as Reihhart or Nylander. It just seems there's something about players not being able to mature or excel their games in Buffalo but the reason doesn't matter. You can't just keep a rotting stench in the locker room it grows worse.

One thing I hope both Botterill and Housley have learned is players yap a lot and say how they s'posed to do this and s'posed to do that but are just turds playing a game with management/coaching just so they can collect an easy paycheck.

Kane saying that he think a lot of criticism was because he was black. It reminds me or a Simpson episode where they got an elephant and when they took him to the preserve Stampy kept ramming other elephants. Homer was asking why and he gives a few reason but the last one was but sometimes it is because they are just jerks. As they pull away and showing Homer ramming his head against the guy. Just saying, my 2 cents was I was never much of a fan of his and it was from the 1st game I watched him play. Sabres were up by a goal and the other team pulled their goalie. A Sabre got control of the puck deep in the zone and Kane took off up the ice. Well the guy never got the puck out and they ended up scoring, while Kane was standing at center ice wondering what happened to his open net goal. Speaks volumes for a new player on a new team. At least it does for me.

Politics as a whole is just disgusting to me.

For every member of the NRA being in a politician's pocket there is a member of another group in someone else's pocket.

Both parties disgust me at times, but it's the world we live in...

If this is how you've deduced my reasoning for going off on him, I'd be absolutely horrified to meet you in real life and react to anything.

"Oh my god, who sh!t their pants?" I said, smelling an awful muster of humon-born methane expulsion

"SO YOU DON'T LIKE THE SMELL OF FARTS NO REASON TO SUGGEST I CAN'T HOLD MY STOOL!!!" snapped Wetbandit, his name becoming evermore clear as the propulsion of gas lingered in the air.

I was being a smartass, but I also thought it might provoke this sort of response, so win for me.

Right right can you look at the previous shootings and tell me why they were committed?

Obviously gun control is an issue but maybe less Richards people would be alive
