I'm fine with spending more. I'm just saying, if you look at the Ducks stats for example, their depth players actually contribute. Gus is dead weight. Gus, Larsson, Nolan, Josefson, the sabres have to do better than that. Erod is a step in the right direction.

He needs to gooooo. He's shot here. Maybe he needs a trade to rejuvenate his career, I just think it's best for both parties that he moves on

He played that 2 on 1 perfectly. So did Johnson. Nelson is definitely a keeper moving forward - low cost, competent d-man.

Very solid 1st period. Nothing flashy but they played well. I would like to see Lehner and his $4 million+ salary traded. Ulmark and Chad Johnson i would be happy with next year.

Pouliot and his 12 goals @ $1 million is much better value than Kane and his 20 goals @ $5 million+. Hopefully Pouliot gets us a 3rd. Wouldn't mind him coming back again next year at a slight raise.
