even if we work with the premise that Kane is better, just because one GM did something dumb doesn't mean others will. I hope Im wrong, but Kane just isn't as good as Buffalo fans make him out to be.

I just love ristos physical game. He's the sabres best defenseman in 10 years imo. He irreplaceable in my book:as a fan,. Love watching him live.

If that's the case that means teams are regularly winning without a kane type. Therefore, you dont really need one. Cool if you have one but modern NHL doesnt really call for it as a necessity.

Kris Baker posted about Jordan Kyrou from St.Louis today... scoring winger.. don’t know if he’s avaikable but I read up on him, and damn he seems like he’s gonna be good. I’m all for a defensive prospect, but we could use some wingers as well. Just really hope to land a half decent prospect tomorrow! That to me is almost more important then the draft pick.

I feel like I got lucky he had two players get hurt this week.

As I am sure you know, playoffs are a different beast, and you need the physicality while still being able to play the game. IMO that is what he brings.

As an example, Tampa is uber talented, but short on the toughness scale. The threat to them is when the officials put away their whistles and let teams like Boston, Philly, et all play their rugged, test the edges of fair play type of game...you need a banger who can also score.

I would LOVE to see him on the Lightning roster in the playoffs.

This is my first year doing it. Wish I realized sooner in the season that more games total for the week is almost always more important
