We need a top winger for Eichel more then a D man IMO, but that's my opinion. - SABRES 89

Mitts. Botts, unlike GMTM, plays it close to the vest, so we might not her anything until 3pm or later. For all we know, the other team might not want to announce, and let other teams know they traded for Kane (competitive advantage) |

Source says four teams are still talking with Sabres about Evander Kane. |

Okposo I was referring to. We made him the best offer and he took it. That's the ONLY reason we get guys like that - fastek
And i'm saying that most teams get the most coveted players by offering the most money. It's not a strategy only utilized by Buffalo. The only exceptions are players like Shattenkirk, who often regret it. Lucic- big money. Most big FAs cash in. That's just how it works |

Botterill is very quite and low key, unlike Murray who had to pump his chest and let everyone know he was in charge or making moves. Botterill isn't like that. Another reason you add to the list why Murray is gone. |

As for the conditions of the deal, #NHLJets will only surrender the 2020 4th-rounder if F Erik Foley doesn't sign a contract with #stlblues by Aug. 16 of 2019. Would say there's a better than average chance Foley leaves Providence College after his junior season.

One of the conditions on the WIN/STL deal. There is lottery protection on the first-rounder in the unlikely event WIN misses the playoffs |

Buffalo has the Sabres and the Bills. Both get $hit on by the media and fans because that's all we have. If we had an NBA team or MLB team in addition, the Sabres and Bills would be focused on less. Its the fishbowl theory. Chris Drury talked about when he left. |

How many took less money than the Sabres offered to sign with another team would be a good question ............ one that is impossible to know not being on the inside. |

I give credit where it is due, SBROADS said the trade with the Jets would never work out for us, and he was 100% correct. |

I can think of at least 2 - Doan and Stamkos. In both cases, they took less money to stay with their current team, not a different team. |

That trade is still "undecided" though ..........especially with Kane on the move. |

I would imagine the media in NYC, Chicago, LA, and any other big market is much harsher on players that the BN. |

Even with Kane on the move, while him and Bogo where here, this team did nothing what so ever and i'm a Kane fan and have defended him on here many times. |

Yikes, a second and a not highly rated prospect for Kane? Is this true? People at Canisius are saying that right now. |

Ok I'll bite ............ what was supposed to happen exactly once Kane got here? Multiple Cups ? Aside from Jack has anyone else outperformed him in those 3 years ?
Now we will get more picks and players for him. It was a win all day in my book. |
