he is the fastest player yes, but we are not talking second faster, we are talking milliseconds, fractions of fractions of seconds. compare eichel to mcdavid in just speed, its extremely minimal. saying that since hes the fastest player in the nhl, he would blow past all opponents is flat out wrong. d man use positioning to cut the need for speed. speed maters but positioning always out plays speed between a d man and forward. so no mcdavid being in the east would not change anything at all. if he was on the sabres we would still be bottom three. if he cant save the oilers right now he deff cant save us |
