Obviously Kane's off-ice reputation really hurt his value. I don't blame Botts, he inherited this mess from Murray. We can all speculate til the cows come home in terms of "did Botts wait too soon". I guess we'll never know.

If if turns out to be a 2nd and decent prospect, so be it. It's just too bad that the 1st/2nd isn't going to happen until 2019.
