We say this about every Prospect we get and what happens they fizzle out
You just got him just in case we move one of the vets so they won't (frank) up the AHL team |

He gambled to play it out at the deadline. In my opinion the deadline is increasingly becoming overrated. I have no idea what went on during the season as far as trade chatter for Kane but a value for his return should have been established before the season started and Botts should have worked on that value all season long and if something got close pull the trigger. - buffalokb
regardless of his on ice production, which has been debated to great length, his off ice reputation and ufa status were always going to bring his value down. Thats just the nature of rentals. |

I thought our “insiders” were saying we were gonna be getting a haul today? Should check their “sources” - Fattony1187
Yes, let’s take our anger on people who are trying to help us. And who don’t work for the Sabres.
Go punch a pillow if it’ll make you feel better. Leave the insiders alone. I come here (hear) to hear they’re info. So shut it |

Once i heard Hartman got a 1st.... idk how Kane didn’t
Crazy
But I’m guessing that was the best offer out there unless Botts really likes Oreagan
I’d say he’s a “B” prospect
If u can call him a prospect still?
If he’s not ready to make our team next year, then he’s never gonna make an impact
Try him with Jack i guess & see what happens |

Conditioned on what? They make the playoffs?
Say it aint so whoa oh. Guys from my work said 1st and 4th and O'Reagan. I don't know who O'Reagan is, but it sounded pretty good to me. Is he the white supremacist that Costanza stole the limo on? |

cost controlled young player with no damaging reputation.
Its about what id expect for kane. Honestly if i was gm of any contender i would stay far away from kane save for maybe LA so the fact that botts got anything is a-ok by me |

Have you watched him play? Just curious to your astute reasoning on why he's not a good AHLer despite point production that proves otherwise. |

Here's the condition of the first-round 2019 pick in the Evander Kane deal: if the Sharks re-sign Kane, it's a first; but if Kane walks into free agency, it's a second-round pick in 2019 |

That's the laughable part of this. Not the trade. It's the fact that the sky is falling because we traded a guy 99% of people on here couldn't wait to get rid of (no hockey sense, cancer in the dressing room, rental, takes low percentage shots, doesn't use his teammates, baggage, bad teammate, etc etc etc) and thought we should get the world for.
Hysterical. |
