Trade girgs and larsson for guys in Roch. I don't care what you do, just do something. I've got a bad feeling about this... It's going to be a long rebuild if this is his speed

Not sure why we're upset with the haul, not like Kane is a prolific scorer. He scores 20-30 a year and is very hot and cold. Like people said, he's a UFA who is going to want to get paid and he's a guy who everyone knows for not the best reasons.

The trade makes sense, we got more than we would have if they let him walk like Kulikov, and since no one here knows what we were offered in December, that's not even worth having a conversation about. Furthermore, don't pretend teams were head over heels when he was scoring at a great pace earlier. He's always been a streaky guy, no GM is going "wow, he's got 5 goals in 3 games, he'll definitely keep that pace up for the rest of his career and throwing two 1sts at Buffalo is a bargin".

It's an average return. Nothing to be super excited about. Nothing to be really mad about.

I brought this us not long ago and got shelled for even thinking it. If no moves are made and the free agents walk in the summer its like dropping the ball as youre on the one yard line with no defenders in sight type of fumble.
