If you're disappointed today then you just haven't been paying attention. Pegula has been an awful owner from the start. He's made nothing but awful decisions for 7 years and this is the culmination of that. We have to hope Botts is a good hire but we don't even know yet.

Trading Pouliot, Gorges, etc for late rounds picks would’ve meant we’d have to bring guys up from Rochester
I’m gonna assume that keeping Roch together was more important than a couple of 6ths
I’d have liked to see them moved too,
but i also don’t mind that line of thinking
Obviously he wanted to make Rochester a priority this year

6ths are important, unless we're trading them for bad players, in which case they are worthless and should be thrown around to get anyone's castoffs.
