It will become a desirable place when we start winning and becoming a playoff team. I dont buy into the cancer thing. If anything, Lehner has been one of the more outspoken leaders in the locker room. He wants to win. Our reputation is so shot. I dont see why any player would want to come here other that for a big pay check.

Pouliot is the only one I would consider, but generally, if someone doesn't want to be part of solution, so long. The college loophole will be closed in 18 months imo

It wouldn't surprise me.

With Ullmark coming up I don't see a qualifying offer coming from GMJB, so why not ask to go to a team with a more solid D to try and earn another contract.

He wont get a qualifying offer from us, and I can't imagine he gets close to 5M a year in free agency
