he has his clothing thrown into the showers by teammates, he's the cancer
he gets run out of Winnipeg he's a cancer
a career fringe NHL player calls him "selfish" because he told him to watch his stick in practice, he's a cancer
it's pretty ludicrous in all actuality
how?
i beg you to answer how Evander Kane is a locker room cancer.
i need evidence
not just a bunch of rhetoric - U Sir Name
He's not . it's just somethign the media makes up.
Today at the presser I enjoyed Harrington asking Botts how much input did the owner's have in the Kane decision ....... "none at all". So of course all of that BS about the Pegula's wanting him out of town was fake news at its finest.
Fine ...... bring in a whole other group that can underperform. While we're at it we can sign another Moulson to get us to the cap limit like before. Rinse and repeat. - fastek
Talk about sour grapes... Next year will at least be entertaining if we bring in a bunch of our picks. A lot of new faces. Some to be pretty excited about.

yeah sure.
if the pegulas told him to trade kane right (frank)ing now he would have said in the presser that they told him to trade kane right (frank)ing now? i doubt it.

Moves today that would've made the team even a little better next year probably convinces me to keep my seasons. One move that won't show results for 4 years, probably not. - Frizzlefry
What about moves at the draft/over the summer? Those don't count?

oh im not unhappy with the return
it's just plain awful in every single way given what a 35 year old Rick Nash got, a trash player like Martin Hanzal got, what Thomas Tatar got was absurd, An ageing and ineffective Paul Stastny got, what Ryan freaking Hartman got...
it's not right and this locker room cancer stuff has got to stop, no one can back any of this up except for finger pointing.
my god, how a few pictures with stacks of money has come back to haunt this man is mind-blowing - U Sir Name
USN; Respectfully, I am not nor was not trying to slander anyone.
I can only tell you what I was told from someone very close to Jack.
Is it true?
It's 3rd hand conversation so.
Do I believe/trust the person that told me that Evander is just not the ideal team mate?
I do.
Very much so.
As I said, I actually kept trying to stick up for Evander during this particular conversation and my friend just kept shaking his head vehemently, no.
Look, I like Evander and I was sticking up for him because I wanted him to stay.
Not many power forwards that can score while punching you in the mouth at the same time.
If Mittelstadt and our first round pick aren’t on the team and contributing next season, I don’t think there is any reason to watch this team until 2020. - MCGUIZZY
Poor Jack by then .......... well at least he'll be rich. Ever get the feeling the Sabres are going to somehow find a way to waste Jack's entire career in Buffalo ?

thats the "scenario" i got from the presser.
botts really likes the word "scenario" too. - TheHank
Saw it on the news . That's what they got out of it too. His comment was with the Sabres talent being where it is , seems not that many gm's lining up for them. Actually , None of them.

Sorry in advanced for long post, feel8ng the need to dump it all out in the blogisphere...
Welp, I’d like to say that was fun.
I’d also like to say that is what I expected to happen...but that i# the “doomed” sentimentality kicking in.
So, I’ll just say that it is what is.
I was hoping, maybe even counting on more...
- more for Kane
- something for
Pouliot
Girgs
Larson
Gorges
But, I was wrong...and should have “listened” to my eyes. No GM wanted our garbage that has collectively created the 30-1/2 best team in a 31 team league.
So now, I must reaffirm that this team (frank)ing blows to the point we got a conditional 2nd, a “C” prospect and a conditional 4th
It isn’t out of rage, but a reflective look at this team...time to dump over priced players off the team by the end of the 2018-2019 season...to enable a complete rebuild ... I’m suggesting finding away to jettison this summer
- ROR
- Okposo
- Bogo
Saves about $18m
And recognize the rolling contract expire at the end of that season
- Pommer
- Blow-U
- Girgs
- Larsson
That’s another $11m
A total of some $29m to re-arm coming out of the assumed lockout in 2019-2020.
Some good talent coming, not all will make it...focus on proper development to maximize the opportunity for cost-controlled young, skilled players coming out of the assumed lockout.
Summary,
-It sucks
-there is light at the end of the tunnel
- stay the course JBotts, suck it up and deal with it
- be prepared for attendance in the 9-10k nightly next year.
The fan base has been tested to the max, it is breaking...don’t middle it.

I honestly think the vast majority of our picks are bottom 6 guys. Hard to get excited about that, especially since we've seen most of them in action.

So maybe he learns he's gotta be a bit more proactive and go out and sell. "Do you really want to be without a, barely, NHL defenseman in the conference finals? Or do you want to rely on some guy who otherwise would never in a million years see the NHL, let alone in that situation?"
or "Hey, this guys has 12 goals on a team that can't score and he hardly plays, is dirt cheap and a UFA, so you can just walk away. Cough up a 4th for him."
Saw it on the news . That's what they got out of it too. His comment was with the Sabres talent being where it is , seems not that many gm's lining up for them. Actually , None of them. - cabin

Yea I mean we already wasted 3 years of it and it looking like we will waste another 2
That’s the problem. I can’t make every game and people won’t even take them for free. I can buy better tickets for 15 dollars on stub hub. - Fattony1187
I get it.
Shortsighted though.
It's going to be a north buffalo real estate market in a time.
Tickets will be unavailable .
Season tickets are like stocks. The market is down, but if its good, its likely to be good for a long time.
