Anybody know if you claim someone from waivers if they can be traded the same day? I would claim Stewart or Oduya and package them in a deal retaining some salary.

Whats not to be sure of? this isnt about the city, it about this losing culture and atmosphere that we have created and is the norm here.

It will become a desirable place when we start winning and becoming a playoff team. I dont buy into the cancer thing. If anything, Lehner has been one of the more outspoken leaders in the locker room. He wants to win. Our reputation is so shot. I dont see why any player would want to come here other that for a big pay check.

I think culture is a meaningless buzz word. Draft better players, cut dead weight. Make smart signings (Pouliot) and the culture is good

Obviously Kane must be pre-occupying his time right now. Wonder if he is sitting on offers for Pouliot and perhaps Gorges/Lehner but will wait until the last minute to announce those?
