2000 posts wow - cabin
Good morning Cab. I see you toughed it out in here last night, I admire your durability.
The Rockford Files and Magnum PI both deserve a little love.
I’m hoping we can flip the picks acquired yesterday to assets at the draft, and those draft day assets can help us sooner than the Picks would. I don’t have any desire to sit through another rebuild. |

The Brassard trade was my favorite of the deadline.
Tampa won the short term, Rangers won the long term.
At least we’re not the oilers...yet
I have a feeling playoffs are going to be really fun this year. |

Yeah, because we have a clear-cut winner we're now shooting for--San Jose. |

In a roundabout way, yes, it is lottery protected, because SJ can push the pick back to 2020 if they want. If they do that, then the 4th round pick we received becomes a 3rd. |

Now that the trade deadline is over with I'm sure the players that have been showing up will go back to their natural self because they know they're safe |

So (frank)ing retarded I don't understand how someone could sign up for a pick that's in 2022

The Sharks definitely bent us over
And then Doug makes it out like he got a franchise player and he gave us peanuts
Jb got played the sharks wanted him bad but probably played it off like he was a risk so the value would be smaller
Rookie GM mistake |

Let them. We don't need any more wins, we need a top pick. The only player I want to see continue producing points it Reinhart, maybe Baptiste. |

If it's true that the Sharks offer was the only one, it would have been a bigger mistake not taking it. But the biggest mistake I feel was not moving kane months ago. Every deadline people say way not wait for a better deal, and I've yet to see these better deal ever materialize for us. The best deals we've had in recent years have all come considerably before the deadline. Vanek, Miller/ott, Pommers |

Stop.
Maybe San Jose wanted him badly, maybe they didn't. All we know is that they were the only team to offer a decent deal. And even if they DO want him badly, that means they'll resign him and we'll get our first. So where is your frustration actually based?
If JB scoffed at their offer and walked away, you'd be grabbing your torch because he didn't get a deal done.
At the end of the day, the NHL is an old boys club and that club determined that Kane wasn't worth the effort. They didn't want his baggage...and I don't necessarily blame them.

It was the best deal on the table not sure how he got bent over. If this deal was made 2 months ago maybe you say he got taken advantage of. Kane was just a toxic asset and unfortunately every GM viewed him that way. We all know Kane will most likely have a nice run in the playoffs so everyone should prepare themselves for that. |

Dude he got played I don’t understand how anybody can see that after the comments Doug made it’s pretty obvious they wanted to kane
I would’ve just hung up the god damn phone
Or just go behind his back and just moved him to a different team for second round pick in 2018 !
This is all on him you should’ve never trusted Kane to increase its value he should’ve moved him Months ago |

The value for Kane was never that high. Teams didn't only just decide last week that his baggage was a problem. Maybe Botterill did overestimate his value, but if he did, he overestimated it from day 1, not as the deadline approached. |

Stop being so naive. Doug Wilson has been a GM for over 15 years. You don't think he is calling other GM's to see what their offers are? The guy is one of the most respected GM's in the league. It's over and done with move on. |

I know a Tomasello from a long time ago that got into the back seat of a car after a night of heavy drinking.
Thought IT was a chick, IT wasn't!
He proceeded to beat the (frank) out if IT right in the back seat. |

Top 3 reasons I would watch a Sabres game for the rest of the season:
#1 Can Erod keep it up?
#2 I am bored.
#3 I need a good laugh. |
