It's been said a lot, but sometimes the best deal is the one you don't make - looks like some teams already overpaying, I've enjoyed the results of the patient approach to this point, let's see where it takes us.

I don't expect much today. Maybe we move Dano for a late round pick and perhaps we pick up a depth player.

I am OK with the team the way it is going forward. The players returning are: Trouba, Tanev, Lowry and big body Mathias who everyone has almost forgotten about. BTW, Mathias has 13 playoff games. Not a lot, but some experience.

I am OK with Copp centering Laine and Ehlers as well for now. If it is working, leave it alone. And, like I said before, these young guys need to gain the experience as well at some point so to paraphrase Wheeler, "This is as good as time as any".

I like the depth and at this point, I am OK with sending someone like Dano for a pick.

Other than that, can anyone give a quick run down on how playoff roster works for the start of playoffs in terms of designation of players?

Do you have to designate a certain roster, how many can u have on the roster including press box, so how many extras can u have and, what is the rule of call ups from the Moose? Can anyone try to address this?

So we now have a third line center in Statsny. ......... Laine- Statsny- Ehlers. Fourth line eventually should be Copp- Lowry- Armia . with Hendricks and Tanev mixed in there.
Dano and Matthais look done as Jets. I believe St. Louis must have wanted Foley more than someone like Dano which fits with my reasoning that Dano is worth no more than a 5th at best.
