I know right? all that power and truculence, shoulda broke the bank for him. - Sabresfan-365
But,
Kane was the best left winger in the world from dec 28th 2017- January 3rd 2018.
He was on pace to score 65 goals during that 6 day period.
8 x 8
should have kept Kane, to allow for that 8th year.

Idk, but I don't think there's enough meat on those bones to get this conversation all the way to July 1. |

he bet on a bidding war, it didnt come through. Its not like the offer is a massive drop between the two and im guessing that 2019 first was from a contender, not some lottery pick.

He deserved this status, and the continued lambasting until we can compete in 5 years instead of about now due to his Xbox moves |

whipping boy is by definition a person who is blamed or punished for the faults or incompetence of others
Thats not the case with those 3. They're all at fault in one way or another. |

Poor management of the D corps forced a young offensive D into a role he was never meant to play.
He in no way was ever supposed to be a 30 minutes a night shut down D with offensive upside.
He was an offensive D from the beginning, lack of literally any other talent on the back end has spoiled his development and the fan's view of him |

I don't dispute that and if he was scoring points at any other game state besides PP Id buy in.
but his ample ice time should also allow for more opportunities to put up points, especially playing with guys like Eichel.
The entire build is GMTM and Darcy's fault. But if you want to say where specifically those three wouldn't be whipping boys because it's true
you're paying close to 19 million dollars and the value you're getting back is rough like half to 2/3 of that. |

Sorry if I'm late on this:
Yeah but we might not see that first till 2022
That's where the deal is dumb - GERBE!!!75PTS
No, that's not right, that's the condition on the 4th. The condition on the 1st is a re-sign, or the Sharks winning the Cup.
The condition on the 4th is it's a 4th in 2019, or if they want to wait a year that 4th becomes a 3rd in 2020.

I'll take that over the bottom 6/bottom 3 where you're getting a 0% value other than Erod and Pouliot |

I think his points are effected by the fact that he is pretty much the only D with skill enough to play against top lines and not crumble.
I would say his points on the PP are indicative of what we would see if he had a true top pairing defensive D partner |
