Gotta take Eichel off this list, he was an autopick. - sskkoo1
It was an easy pick but he still did it.
If you're grading and take away the easiest question because it's a gimme, you've got to get rid of the hardest too in order to be fair. |

Was talking total points. But my main point was about Ennis. just wild how far he fell. I mean I remember thinking he could be a 30 goal scorer under the right conditions. - MCGUIZZY

Tampa.
So far so good - Boss34

I'm with you, let's slow our roll here.
But, I think he's trying to say, the world didn't end without Kane, that's what we need to realize. |

What followed was a frightening stretch, during which Ennis experienced seizures, had to be shuttled by Sabres staff because he was not allowed to drive, and, on the worst days, wondered whether he might ever play again.
Wow somehow i missed this.

sam and nylander are not putting up Crosby points atm . But could end up decent top 3 players.
seems our posters feel if they aren't putting up them numbers right away, they are a bust . and they resort to not watching stats to prove their point . - cabin
I don't think it's too jaded to say that our prospect pool is thin right now because GMTM traded away so many picks/prospects. It's common sense. |

True . But gotta remember those picks are are a pretty much gonna be fails . Not many acutaally make it inthe NHL.
Edit : Sabres picks make it too the NHL. |

I'm not writing them off:
Sam has value whether it's trade value or future value in buffalo. He's just not my type of player, but again that doesn't mean he's worthless.
Nylander looks lost, but again he's still young
He's ranked 25 overall in prospects outside the nhl.

At one point, ennis looked like an all star for sure.
Around the time Darcy signed him to the extension.
I do not blame Darcy for the contract, Ennis looked like he deserved it. |

What's the sabres record since eichel got hurt?
Doubt they are winning 2/3's of the games.
Especially vs. Top teams in the east.
Good point though |

For sure. Especially moving the 2 1st rounders in 2015.
Our defense could be
Nelson
Guhle
Antipin
Next year. Jbotts signed Antipin, but gmtm set it up |

55 and 90 with those nice stat padding PP points where they literally did nothing.
Overall good game from 71, 29, 20. - sbroads24
Right, because they're the only ones in the league that do that.
Both Laine and Wheeler both have ~50% PPP.
ROR has only 14 of his 44 points on the PP and Risto has exactly half. |

I understand the sentiment, but there were a lot of late first/early second picks and prospects. They don't all hit, but most do make it to the NHL. Instead, we're talking about CJ Smith as a prospect and projecting him on the team next year, when really he's 23 has played 2 NHL games. I look forward to talking about Rasmus Asplund next year, who has a much higher ceiling.

Like I said, i wouldnt normally want to agree with that train of thought, but Id rather have him in college if we are going to be a last place team again (or close to it). I dont want them to bring him up just to sell tickets.. - MCGUIZZY
They could also assign him to Rochester. I'd rather have that than another year in college. If they think he's ready.
It sounds like Minnesota sucks too, so I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes. |
