Ryan Spooner has 2 assists for the Rangers tonight.

Fitzgerald I'm hearing as well maybe good.
Again, I've said this before to, but we pound on GMTM. But LaFontaine was brought in to steer the ship, Pegula GOT a hockey operations guy. LaFontaine brought in Murray and instead of working with him, took his toys and went home when he did something he didn't like.
That's the second team LaFontaine has done that too.
This doesn't get mentioned all that much, that really put TM in a BAD spot. - gcomella34

What's the sabres record since eichel got hurt?
Doubt they are winning 2/3's of the games.
Especially vs. Top teams in the east.
Good point though - Boss34
Just saying
The games we won without Kane we also didn’t have Jack
My point was neither means anything about how good of a player they are |

They’re nuts
That may be true, but u gotta take your next franchise QB
Indi did it with Luck/Manning
They could let their guy hang on the bench for a couple years like Rodgers did behind Favre |

Ugh
They better not
Top3 is where the cutoff this year is imo
Idk if Tkachuk will be a scorer in the NHL
And if we go for Boqvist or Hughes on defense, they’re likely a few years away |

That's the league. Everyone is so close that missing even a couple guys is enough to put you in the basement. - Wetbandit1
That is also what happens when they let so very many penalties, many of them obvious, go without being called. |

They previously stated to expect disinformation to come out prior to the draft. Gettleman doesn't want their draft plans coming out before the draft like they did with the previous GM. Though they do like Webb.
But I seriously doubt they DON'T draft a QB, the talk about the last time they were that high they took an LB in Lawrence Taylor, yeah the league is a little different than it was 35 years ago.

We havn't had this much talent in the system in years
Mitts
Guhle
Ullmark
Nylander *
Cj smith *
Some of it is gmtm, but jbotts keeping guhle down was smart
Ullmark - giving a pick to Vegas to keep him
Antipin - should be a regular next year - Boss34
Same thing was said about:
Grigorenko
Girgensons
Bailey
Baptiste
Adam
Gerbe
ETC ETC.
Until they are key players in the NHL I don't get overly excited about them. |

Right, because they're the only ones in the league that do that.
Both Laine and Wheeler both have ~50% PPP.
ROR has only 14 of his 44 points on the PP and Risto has exactly half. - Wetbandit1

This is fair. However, I think it's ok to be 'excited' about Guhle and Ullmark, as they've shown they can hang. Mittelstatd is just really good, and we'll hopefully get to watch his game rise as his competition does. Nylander has all the skill in the world. Kid needs more time, so be it. Bailey/Baptiste were always just outside hopes for bottom 6 scoring. Not too late for at least one of them. And Gerbe. Umm.. hmm.. he had some useful NHL years. Dropped off quickly. Not sure why.
I don't think Girgensons ever had the expectation of a top line center, or even a top 6. He was, I believe, supposed to bring middle line complimentary scoring, and has certainly underachieved.
Grigorenko was.. well. You know. |
