I think Guhle, Smith, Baptiste and Ulmark will be here next year. Time to say goodbye to Bailey and Fasching IMO. I think if Rochester can find a goalie they will be very competitive.

I also think people need to pump the breaks on Middlestadt and Nylander, for different reasons. I understand why people are worried about Nylander though, this organization CAN NOT develop talent.

Only thing that matters to me for the rest of the year is the play of Sam and Antipin

Really, why should they show up? No matter what the effort or lack of, the players still get their very high pay. Very discouraging for fans for a franchise that was playoff bound almost every year many, many moons ago.

They do need to figure you why so many of our guys can't seem to turn the corner. Other teams consistently fill their rosters with guys drafted out of the 1st round, but for us Guhle will be the first since m. Foligno.

Give the kid some time. We invested a lot. If he was bound by the CHL rules, next year would be his rookie AHL season.

Think you misunderstood me. By pumping the breaks, I meant people can't be so quick to expect things from him, hes only 19. I don't think he should have been put in the AHL so soon.

bailey's been injured for a good chunk of the season...imo, if you need to move him as part of a trade to upgrade, then so be it...but I wouldn't just toss him aside quite yet as in the very least he has both size and wheels

Forgot about McCabe, but the rest of your list is 1st round picks. I was saying we're not developing out picks outside of the 1st round as well as the rest of the league. It's a problem that needs to be addressed.

Pretty sure we can't count Jack. He's been a Sabre from day 1. The Sabres did nothing to develop him, hes just good.
