Exactly when are the Sabres going to be good? As a Flyers fan, I'm not supposed to like the Sabres, but I do anyway. I'm not sure why, but I do. I'd kind of like to see them not suck. So, if you could provide a timeline of when the suckitude could possibly come to an end, I would appreciate that. Thanks.

Not next season, hopefully the following.

Despite it all, we have a few good looking prospects that are close in Mittelstadt, Guhle and Asplund. The dead weight contracts are all one to two years outside of Bogo. That's probably where the window opens and playoffs are an obtainable goal.

Still think we are more than a year away and need major help at defense, but the forward group has, recently, been playing actual hockey which is a refreshing change from our first 50 games.

Different scenarios here. Unless he wants to stay in college all 4 years and forego 3 years of money making. He is good enough to start his pro career next year. He can’t walk on buffalo for 3 years. That’s a lot of money.

That being said he isn’t enough to make them good. They are missing several pieces

The Sabres are going to be great once they pry Orielly away from the Avalanche for pennies on the dollar. Evander Kane and Kyle Okposo are going to lead this team for years to come and Eichel > McDavid. Not to mention, Lehner is an elite goalie and the D is solid.
