I agree that our injury prone players like Tanev, Granlund, and Beargee should all be traded for picks at this years draft.

Also, I believe our team will be better off without the Sedins. Sadly, I think they will be back next year. This is no knock on them whatsoever as I love what they've done for the organization and they've both had outstanding careers. However, I think Bo,Boeser and even JV will elevate their game to another level once they realize this team belongs to them. We've seen snippets as to what JV can bring and I can only imagine he continues to improve.

If you are in the belief that we need the Sedins to "mentor" our young guys, take a look at some of the more entertaining and successful teams this year (vegas, nashville, leafs , etc) who seem to be doing okay without this notion.

My take...

Goldy plays in a fog too often & needs to assert himself more in a 2-way game.

Nillson is the smallest big sieve too often.

Hutton needs to play more aggressively & use his wheels better.

Eriksson was miscast & needs better line mates that suits his game.

Jake is finding his way while the team is just as much doing the same.


Scoring from D is a black hole & in goal the 1st shot holes we get in are annoying.
