Huge upgrade for the Jets...

They've needed a good centre to play with Laine all year since Brian Little sucks considerably.

Just watched the highlights from Saturday. Man did they ever (frank) up a lot of things that you'd think would be common sense.

White uniforms, low lighting causing long dark shadows, etc. It seemed like every goal with the exception of the breakaway both goalies had no clue where the puck was. It was even hard to see the puck on the screen!

I think they're simply trying to handle their assets the best possible way instead of looking at short term performances.

Trading Shattenkirk, then Stastny, for plenty of picks and prospect might prove smart in the long run. Especially since it's goddamn obvious You're not winning the cup with Allen in net.
