I like that. Is raanta ufa? Surprised he wasn't moved at the deadline. They just traded and signed for the kings guy.

Hopefully it hurt raanta's feelings a bit.

I'm ok with Chad too like Michael mentioned a few blogs ago. Nice guy, you know what your getting. Pretty sure he knows the back up role. I think the sabres are taking a real look at him currently. 3 of 4 last starts including tonight.

He was in massive trade rumors to the Islanders But like you said he might’ve been pissed off that they traded for a Goaltender and signed him right away

wikipedia is honestly the best for this stuff

"Buffalo will receive a first-round pick in 2019 if the Sharks qualify for the 2019 Stanley Cup playoffs and they win the Stanley Cup in 2018 or if Kane re-signs with the Sharks for the 2018–19 NHL season. If the Sharks fail to qualify for the 2019 Stanley Cup playoffs and one of the other previously listed conditions converts the first-round pick will defer to 2020. Otherwise this will remain a second-round pick in 2019"

There must have been ZERO interest to take this deal for the sabres. Each time jbotts called to confirm the trade, the sharks added on more stipulations. We got what we could .

See. This why the NHL should intervene and be sure both parties get a fair deal.

IMO, if Kane does well enough for them. They should force the Sharks to provide their 1st to the Sabres. Taking into account the Sabres situation. You know, we stinking up the league. Should be that way for any team in a similar situation.

We now hold SJ's 2019 2nd round pick. That pick becomes a 2019 1st if SJ wins the Cup this year (2018) or resigns Kane. If either of those conditions are met, we get SJ's 2019 1st round pick.

Now because they wanted to lottery protect their 2019 1st round pick, they have the option to defer it to 2020. If they take that option, we automatically get their 2020 1st round pick guaranteed. And, the 2019 4th round pick we received becomes a 2019 3rd round pick.

What if Kane gets in trouble between now and the playoffs, would we have to give the pick back?

The other game is at like $56, I'm not sure why this one is so cheap.

I was talking about him being "cheap". He cost a 1st and a 2nd.

And he's not that good.
