I have a question about next season. Are you (or anyone) going to root for wins in the beginning of the season? Because if the Sabres end up missing the playoffs, those early season wins would be damaging to draft position, right? - PrinceChill
We all know this is not going to be fixed overnight were most likely going to be in the top 5 next year ..
But no one was rooting for losses in the beginning of the year I for one knew we were going to be terrible..
But right now the only thing we have to look forward to is the draft lottery and we have to be in the best position and have the best percentage so we can maybe get the first overall pick or second |

Someone will take him in the 3rd I bet
If he had 2 hands he would be a borderline 1st rounder
I watched him play a lot this year, I hate college football but living in Orlando and with the season UCF had it was hard to not get caught up in it.
The dude is an athlete, fast and strong. He is solid in coverage and at least in the college game tackled anything that came near him. - Stripes77
Agreed on the part with almost a first-round pick
He's going to be a great story whoever drafts him

Marcus Davenport is a beast. Shaq Lawson and not filling a more glaring need, it would still be difficult to pass him by if they stay put and he is available. Shaq Lawson really needed to be better. D line has to do a better job getting to the QB - Hatboro_Swords
Is it bad that I didn't even notice Shaq Lawson this year
Another fine bust |

The #Eagles are expected to release DE Vinny Curry, source said, putting another key pass-rusher on the market. He was due $9M this year. Up against the cap, Philly clears some needed cap space. - Stripes77
I don’t get why Curry never got much PT. Graham wasn’t lighting the world on fire before last year and Curry always seemed to make plays when he was in. When he got that deal I thought it would change things, but it didn’t. |

He is going to have to work his way into the starting lineup.
If he is taken in the 4th round he will probably start out on special teams.
I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a legit shot that by the time October rolls around he would be a starter or at least a rotational guy.
His story is awesome, his attitude is even better |

That's the point though. Those points matter just as much as ones late in the season. So why root for wins early(or at least not root for a loss), but root for losses late when "you know" they're going to finish bottom 5?

Must've been a fascinating band to see develop at the time. I'm a bit too young to have witnessed Floyd albums as they came out. By the time I was aware of them, their legacy was already cemented into being "Pink Floyd".
But the thought of the anticipation of a new album, finding out there's only 5 (4.5?) songs on it, curious cover art, the obvious and pessimistic themes presented...there is a richness to that. And in today's era of instant gratification, things like this can sorta get lost. - PrinceChill
Was awesome back in the day. I Laugh at the kids these days saying their new "BAND" is it . Most don't even know how to play an instrument . I have the Pulse DVD always in my player . Great jams to get chit done around the house or just Chill.

Because we are all fans
And if u don’t recognize that circumstances change as we win or lose throughout the season...
then there’s not much else to be said
Now that we are out of it...
do u want us to finish last, or 6th last?
Sounds like an easy answer to me |

With a few more early season losses, this team is sitting in 31st place, not 30th, and thus a better lottery percentage. I really thought this team was going to challenge for a playoff spot and I was WAY off. It hurt to watch them play so poorly because I so wanted them to be good and I was sick to death of watching losing hockey.
I guess what I'm getting at is "what do people want and how do they want it?" If it's Cup or bust, I find that kinda dismal. Any sort of meaningful spring hockey would be a welcome sight for these sore eyes. To me sport fandom is supposed to be somewhat emotional experience, but for years the only emotion seems to be numbness. And that sucks.
If the expectation is a bottom 5 finish, and the team ends up 10th from the bottom, is that failure or success? How does a first round playoff loss stack up against a top 3 draft pick? |

We could sign at almost any position. Very curious as well. Willing to bet the bills find three or four quality cost controlled free agents. |

And how many stars have we drafted ?
They should just make it easy and trade up for QB so they don’t have to draft all busts |

What if, just maybe, even with all the gaps on this team, they trade up for RGIII? |
