Brickley and Autio have both attended Sabres D camp in consecutive years, respectively. Brickley is close with Casey Nelson. - TheSabresTaco
Add all the talent we can!
I often wonder why they don’t sign these kids who attend our developmental camp though?
Seems like we could get them right there, but then they go back to school & we end up missing out on signing them |

We find out on March 18th as to whether Minnesota makes the NCAA tournament. They kinda suck this year, but who knows what their dumb algorithm spits out. Selfishly, I hope they don't make it. I want to see him in Buffchester. - TheSabresTaco
Kinda depends on what some other teams did, but losing those 2 games to Penn state almost assuredly knocked them out |

its the safest form of transportation.... You've obviously never been in a Cessna Citation..... - gordong
Commercial aviation is, private is not so much, but it's mostly the 2 and 4 seaters that crash a lot, not jets. |

Trade for Foles
Sign Watkins
Signed-A Fan that wants to win a playoff game - Stripes77
I’d prefer Keenum (don’t have to give up a pick)... and there’s other WRs I’d rather sign i think
Sammy couldn’t stay healthy for us,
and was ineffective for the Rams
I’d be ok with it if he signs on the cheap, but I’m not paying top dollar for him
No way |

Playoffs don’t matter, just advanced stats - IonSabres
wouldnt most analytically minded people tell you that faceoff % is a joke?
when the best one wins 6 more than half out of 100, how is that any more important a skill than flipping a coin for it?

So if we are down by a goal late,
you’d be ok with someone other than O’Reilly taking a faceoff in the offensive zone?
The kind of logic u just stated above isn’t the best way to look at it
It’s like comparing how many more saves in a game a .925 goalie makes vs a .900
In a 35 shot game,
that’s less than a 1 save per game difference
But you CLEARLY want the goalie with the
.925 save%
Don’t you? |

No but you are implying that he must take more years for his family, and if he signs with the Vikes for the money, that his family wouldn't want to live in Minnesota, or that they can't "settle down" there. 3 years is a decent amount of time for his profession, and if he plays well, he'll get an extension most likely, and if he doesn't, he can hang it up and retire there if he doesn't want to move again, which is your point. As a Packers fan, I don't want them to sign him, but if he's really getting offered 30+ a year for 3 years for a contender, my point is how do you not take it? Moving his family ( and lets be real, hire movers, hop on the Vikings team jet with the fam, and wait for your stuff to arrive) isn't going to be a factor. |

I meant "small" as in like 10 seaters. Those don't crash nearly as much as 2 and 4 seaters.
Pilots of jets need to have a type rating. Which means they're more experienced. Not some guy who flies once every few months and has 80 total hours in some 2 seater.
And I never said it's all bells and whistles, but there aren't 200 other people sneezing and coughing on you, babies crying, apathetic air crew... You get nice leg room in nice seats, and no one to bother you. That is infinitely better. |

Simple answer is that they can't. They don't hold their rights and they aren't free agents.

Keenum gets $18 million at least
Foles has a year left at $13 million
Sammy wasn't ineffective, he was in an offense where they spread the ball around
He did have the most receiving touchdowns on the team with 8
But I understand the concern with him |

I thought players that were invitees that have already gone through their draft year and went undrafted are free agents? |

There are also reports that Cousins wants a short deal with high guarantees so he can 'double dip' in Free Agency. If he goes to a team like the Vikings, wins a Super Bowl with them while relying on that defense, Dalvin Cook at RB, and those WRs, he can cash in for even more in 3 years. By 2021, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Ben Roethlisberger, Phillip Rivers, Matt Ryan, and Tom Brady will all have had their contracts expire. If some of them re-reset the market at a higher rate, 91 mill will look like chump change to his next contract. |

No, they don't become UFA until after their third year of being draft eligible.
