Keenum gets $18 million at least
Foles has a year left at $13 million
Sammy wasn't ineffective, he was in an offense where they spread the ball around
He did have the most receiving touchdowns on the team with 8
But I understand the concern with him - Stripes77
My thinking with Foles is that i don’t see him as our “Franchise QB”
I’d still wanna draft someone like Rudolph
So do i really wanna trade a high pick for him to start here for 1 year?
Because he’s not gonna wanna re-sign here knowing he could be replaced at any minute
Keenum doesn’t cost us a pick
Or Bradford, McCarron, McCown, etc
However...
If the Bills see Foles as our Franchise QB,
then ignore everything i just said
I just don’t see Foles that way
And i know I’m higher on Keenum than most are on here

I'd pursue Blaine Gabbert, if only to have another body throwing balls at training camp - homiedclown
Fitz would be more competitive and fun for Bills fans imo. Peterman and Fitz battle it out with a rookie QB taken in the first round in training camp, Peterman wins the job, and the rookie takes over late in the season or if there's an injury. That's what I'm hoping for.
I know nothing of the QB class. Go trade with the Browns or the colts, or take the fast one later |

No way in hell Peterman would beat out Fitz in a true open competition. |

It’ll certainly be interesting to see how it all plays out
I can’t remember an offseason where there was this much QB talk for so many teams
Could’ve been even more if the Saints missed the playoffs again or the Colts decided they were gonna trade Luck

Peterman shouldn’t have even been on the active roster last year
He clearly wasn’t ready
They could still put him on the practice squad this year i believe |

The only time I've watched him actually play was the SD debacle. So if he's really that bad, then yeah, he won't. I'd rather he play this year anyway than Taylor/fitz/gabbert/other journeyman. If he sucks, he sucks. So be it and at least we'll know. He seems like a centered guy so i'd like him to at least be a capable backup for whoever they draft |

An interesting thing I read about the Cousin to Vikings thing is that Minnesota has a reciprocity tax with Michigan, where Cousins lives. So that means instead of paying 9.85% income tax to Minnesota, he'd pay 4.25% to Michigan.
Fair warning, it's from ESPN, and I don't plan on doing any research to find out if they're actually right. |

I was high on the Keenum idea as well.
Then the potential with Foles.
There's a few things to look at here, Foles is under contract at $13 million next season, the Bills have cap issues. His next contract can kick in in 2019 when the Bills have more cap space.
The amount of draft picks needed to move up to the top 5 scares me with how many holes are on this roster. Do I want to give up the much needed depth and the much needed day one starters for a shot at a franchise QB? Or do I want a guy that I would put in the same breath as Alex Smith who does have the ability to win you games and throw for more than 200 yards per game, while building a true contending team around him?
We saw what Foles can do with a team around him in the playoffs and Super Bowl. I would be fine with him has the starter for the next 4-5 years and drafting the next guy in 2 years time with having no issue moving draft picks to move up to get your guy assuming the Bills draft well this year and next.

Porter is more useful down there. There veterans are doing well, the kids are picking it up.
A Nylander call up now to play a few with the big boys will be good before he goes back down for the playoffs. - washedup20
I think Bailey may have seniority over nylander |

I'm pretty sure Peterman has the good ole "rob Johnson practice all star" image.
Fitz is a gamer, he's getting pretty old though |

I’d be ok with either one. I would hope they play with 23 and 90.
