he's constantly out of position defensively either out of poor awareness or just plain lazy. That'll drive any coach nuts.
- Sabresfan-365

I'll take him 100 times out of 100 over any other currently healthy LW on this team for the top line

Alex Smith = zero rings :: 2-5 in the NFL playoffs
Nick foles = 1 ring ::3-1 in the NFL playoffs

Judging QBs by “rings” is dumb
Is Foles better than Marino & Kelly?

I don’t think it’s that big of a deal
Pouliot is an average player, who most likely won’t be here going forward

Who cares what slot he plays in the last 20games?
I sure don’t

Yes, if you are judging by championships won

Well I hope Girgensons isn't either, personally. I'm just saying Pouliot has gone end-to-end this year for a spectacular goal. I'd rather have that sort of possibility on my top line than Girgensons who gets a goal off his foot

I get your reasoning...
not saying you’re wrong

But i still don’t see why it matters who plays where for the last part of this season?
Don’t we wanna lose anyways?

The pass was very catchable for a professional football player. Harmon should have caught it.

Wasn't the perfect pass, but still a drop

- Boss34

Definitely a drop. Is it just me or would both of those guys, Kelly and Kosar be run out of the league today because of their mechanics? Happy feet, really long motion, elbow out...

And the way they stood under center was really weird too.

I think that's a little unfair with Girgs:
He's had more than 1 goal off his foot

Yeah, and the Eagles wouldn't have made the playoffs if he played the whole year.

He's Patrick Lalime, Christobal Huet, Antti Niemi, Michael Leighton...

Get really hot/unbeatable in the playoffs, well except for that one game where Foles was terrible and they should've lost to the Falcons...

Winning and inspiring others to win is important.
It also is one way of judging players.

Kelly or Marino will never be considered the greatest , because they didn't win the Superbowl.

Foles experience last season is immeasurable

You have to give foles credit for being the mvp quarterback of the Superbowl. It's a fact.

Your opinion of weather the eagles would have made the playoffs with foles at qb isn't a fact

I’m gonna be honest with you I really don’t watch things that are old unless it’s brought back in HD

I can’t watch football games that are black and white or football games that are fuzzy has to be high-quality

Have you never seen the comeback against the Oilers? Goddamn, dude...

Credit, sure, he played great in 75% of his 4 games. That's no where near enough reason to cough up a 1st+ for him.

If he was even serviceable before that, maybe. But he was going to retire because he wasn't good enough to stick anywhere.

By the same token though, what has tanking got us thus far?

Jack is great, I love watching him. But let's be honest, we need more than one player here. Dahlin is also great...isn't going to save us. We need to buck up. I'd rather start bucking now vs later.

- RhinoFan

It got us Jack and Casey and this year will hopefully get another player of that caliber.

I know what you are saying but:

How many wins better are the bills with foles over tyrod?

A couple in my opinion

Why?
Seriously?
We suck all year in second last place and now you want them to win.

Seriously Why?
Lock down 2nd or 3rd last, then start " bucking" the last few games with Casey and Nylander

- Boss34

Because of course as the Sabres have proved for the past several years ... playing well at the end of the season absolutely translates into building momentum for the following season.

Had we tanked more we would have a better player then Nylander.
1 less point and we have Keller.
A few less points and we have tkachuck.
Or even Matthews or laine

Don’t get me started on Keller lol

But the Sabres had a deal for TK but brain Burke pulled a fast one

I'm older than Gerbe and I've never seen any of the Superbowl losses or the Houston game. I've actually never watched any Kelly game in its entirety.

Edit: I know the Oilers was Reich
