Neither am I, but those 3 were pretty much the consensus, and everyone else was after them. But if you thought you could get 1D and 1C in back-to-back drafts why wouldn't you? It didn't work that way so 1C and 1AC is a pretty attractive alternative. Now it's more like 2RW and 1C.

I think the "he's a big man who can move" is overshadowing what appears to be 2nd pair impact. sounds familiar

Neither am I, but those 3 were pretty much the consensus, and everyone else was after them. But if you thought you could get 1D and 1C in back-to-back drafts why wouldn't you? It didn't work that way so 1C and 1AC is a pretty attractive alternative. Now it's more like 2RW and 1C.

So if Mittelstadt is gonna play wing,
I’d be ok giving Sam another shot at center
But like u said,
with some legit linemates

yeah literally anyone other than the two i mentioned. Eichel's the franchise guy and im not sure he can carry those two carcasses. Reinhart is a complimentary guy (good one) so not surprising it went to poop.

They still generated decent ozone time and there shot share numbers were pretty good, gives me hope that he can centre a line.

Perhaps. he was an exceptional status guy too so im sorta watching him hoping to see something exceptional. He's still solid it's just...for first overall its meh. I guess Erik Johnson like.
