Sherman should get released this weekend. Time to re-build the D around Wagner. - VanHockeyGuy
Seagulls aren't going to be able to able to rebuild that fast, too many holes. Maybe in a few years but Wagner will be pushing 30. |

|
Will be tons of season ticket holders jumping off the bandwagon there too. Time to move my seats up!
As long as they have Wilson the rebuild has a chance. Quicker than a hockey rebuild. - storm88
Different game, different GM styles. Schneider's a gunslinger, not afraid of bold moves.
Benning on the other hand, polar opposite. |

NFL draftees can step in faster and fill those holes. They need to fix the O-line and re-establish the run game, and they'll be able to compete with the Ram's maybe as early as this season. ***Sheldon Richardson is a big must to re-sign. |

If Tanev is ever moved, a D prospect must be coming back. Gonna be a long 15 games here. - storm88
And a first. |

they don't have the personnel to replace the guys they are cutting let alone build the o-line and d-line up. Wilson can give them a shot, but the d will not be nearly as effective IMO. I agree draftpicks step in at the NFL, big time. But you don't have enough of them. |

lol...maybe it's the coach as I don't really see much wrong with this roster... - LordHumungous
Well, he is a smug & condescending dink. I guess that comes when the job is handed to you with zero competition. |

Guys like Earl Thomas, Sherman had immediate impact as rookies, free agency, trades. Lots can happen, too early to concede the season. |

That would be my preference as well as a pick/s.
This team is just so bad at centre from an entertainment standpoint, when Bo has an off night, like he did in lastnights game.
Most are so desperate for something entertaining we have both Petterson and Gaudette in our lineup for next season in our top 6.
If they are ready great, if not it could be another long season plus these last 15 games.
Sire would have been nice if this rebuild process started back in 2012, like some of us were hoping for.

I'm not totally convinced it's started now? |

Good point.
Can we call it a gradual and painfully slow turnover of players? |

It's the NFL. Sherman is a HOFer and they are releasing him replacing him with a rookie. Bennett? Seagulls weren't good last year, this year will be growing pains. Good luck though, just IMO it takes a few years to replace and get young guys going. As a Steelers fan, It took about 3 years to get back on track revamping the D. We have small window with Ben behind the line, he already looked a bit shaky last year. |

In my NFL pool here last year I called a 9-7 Seahawks finish with no playoffs. Next year it will be 7-9 with no playoffs. You are correct I see about 3 years to get the team back on track....maybe. |

Interesting info from Maclean and Kypreos, Carolina owner was walking around rink and in dressing room in Hartford Whalers hoodie
Maybe they relocate back to Hartford at same time Seattle gets expansion. |

I won't underestimate Schneider and Carroll, and especially RW3. SF & LAR are the ones to beat next year. Vegas has SEA at 18/1 for the Superbowl. I'll take that over the HB experts any day |

That's about it. They already have way too many marginal players in the organization. Need more potential difference makers. |

Brickley and Whitecloud from that list. We need more defense in the pipeline. |

We should definitley fire him. This team would be great with playoff coaching. |
