Yep, wannabee's. They're everywhere these days, some good some bad.

I like Biech, he's got his own thoughts. Ben Kuzma and Ed Willis are decent half the time.

Right now we are one of the worst teams in the league and in the next few weeks will drop. That means we can draft an NHL ready Winger to replace Daniel . With Tanev trade for a decent center that can step in for Henrik. You then get a goalie and Dman in free agency ( stop gap ) and then this would make 2020 happen in 2019 instead of waiting an extra year.

And Jarabek garnered a 5th. Just saying one of Jim’s comments after the fact was that there was a market for depth defenders and they would be mindful of that moving forward.

a 5th in 2019. Again a player who is 3 years younger. Sooner rather then later guys like Biega will be pushed out by better players. Then you can trade for the 6th round pick.

Being younger doesn’t mean more valuable to other teams.

I seen a two week period where he looked like a second line player but then he got injured .

You need change .I don't think Canucks should go heavy on free agents but with the cap space I would rather see them pick up a Goalie and a Dman for about 3 years instead of going the mentorship route.

- VANTEL

I would to wait a few weeks into free agency and find a few Vaneks to sign to 1 year deals in hopes of flipping for picks at the TDL. I think we just have buy one more year until the kids arrive.

Sorry, are you saying that an undrafted, European player with 25 games of NHL experience is better? By age 26 I think he is what he is at this point...

I say we will win 3 games at the most and will drop in the standings . Losses is our best friend going forward guarantee a top 4 finish. People say get another first round pick. Our best chance of getting close to first round pick is drafting 32 nd.

I changed my guess to 6OA, anything else is a bonus. There's also the chance someone goes off the board and JB gets his guy again this year.

A bit of lucks gets rid of all the IF's

Yeah really the only teams we have a chance at beating over the remainder of the sched might be ARZ, EDM or CHI. But really I'll be amazed if we can manufacture 4 wins out of the remainder of the year. Considering ARZ outplayed us for 50 min last game our chances of winning 3-4 game the rest of the way is slim. And Tankstrom looks like he has mailed it in. He'll just whine about our AHL talent all the while Markstrom himself should still be in Utica

But yet a 29 year old with 4 separate seasons of experience and can't play regularly on one of the worst D in the league is worth more?

For a playoff team, as a depth defender, yes, more valuable.
