I saw an interesting take on twitter earlier today, that if the flyers face pitt in the playoffs this year, the staff will have to consider moving G back to center to be able to match up better with their center depth. While I love G on the wing and how energized he looks this year, I tend to agree with this that they need to strongly consider that option.
Thoughts? - ajw12
Do they have enough wingers to support that move? |

I mean I think they could bring up NAK and be fine if they decided to move G back to center. |

I wouldnt resign Mrazek - YuenglingJagr
Me either. We need our goalie to stop everything our defense gives up every two minutes. I would role with the two guys on the IR and see what they can do from a hospital bed. |

No he was absent when the Flyers were winning and only shows up now to claim moves are an indictment against the entire organization. None of the decisions the Flyers made on personnel are puzzling. - MJL
Every decision the Flyers ever make is the correct one, got it. |

In the first half of the second period the Flyers controlled the play and there was plenty of emotion in the game from the players. They let the Pens back in the game and had some bad luck and a bad pinch by a rookie defenseman. - MJL
I'm sure Hagg will be healthy scratched for the next game like Konecny, and Ghost and Sanheim were after games where they made poor decisions on the ice. It greatly helped with their development to watch from the press box and focus on improving their game in practice, according to Flyers management.
If Hagg isn't healthy scratched, that would be a puzzling double standard. |

dont like it when people show up when it is going wrong and dont like it when they always give the corporate response.
Hagg? not so simple, it is all situational, in this situation, playoff race and all, there isnt a better option to sit Hagg even i thought they should. Comparing a team in the playoff race and last years team is not a good comparison. |

And I believe it's not the time to do that for a DMan just because one rookie struggles a bit on a team that isn't getting past round 2 in the playoffs. Cup contender sure this team... nope

Hey ya never know. If this team can get hot again in April like they were last month, anything can happen.

I don't see them winning 4 games in a row against both Pittsburgh and Washington. If they find a way to face Jersey instead of one of those it could change my view. |

Things would definitely need to change to win a series against Pitt but I could see them getting by Jersey and/or Washington. I mean I'm not saying I see them winning 2 rounds, I'm just saying the playoffs are all about who gets hot at the right time. And I believe they have enough talent that if everything clicks they could win a couple rounds but they would need a lot to roll their way. |

Notice I said not win 2 rounds. That infers that I believe they can beat one of the two but beating both back to back is not happening unless something really miraculous happens. |

Right, I did miss that you said both Pitt and Wash, not or. Anywho, unfortunately I feel if we draw the Pens in the first round that we will be 1 and done. We just have not played them well. |

I would consider a Sanheim callup miraculous at this point |

Even that won't tip the scales for the Flyers. Miraculous will be Elliott turning into the second coming of Bernie when he returns. |

Of course your fine with it. They have options they choose not to use. I will never like having subpar players on the team regardless of where they are in the building process. I don't like these players when they are winning either. You are fine with it. So be it. - mickel25
There are always other options. Doesn't make those options automatically better.
