Yeah, I looked it up.
Broads said Welker was rated over Fitzgerald one year and I'd wager it was one of those years.
I'm in no way saying Welker was better, at all.
Fitzgerald is a lead pipe lock HOFer and in the top 10 all-time for sure. But for one year? Yeah I can see why Welker was rated over him. |

They probably have the most money to throw at him.
Imagine if they sign cousins and pick another top guy at 4 |

Interesting. Some good names on this list.
I think some of the injury background might need to be taken into account? Sammy?
I appreciate the list though. |

Payday ( If he would’ve showed up in the beginning year maybe I would think differently)
I would trade him for young defenseman in the summer because
Casey and z Will most likely take his spot - gerbe75pts
Seems pretty set that he is on the wing for the ROR line, so how will Casey and Z take his spot if they would be playing with Eichel?

Jeff Marek says we have tkachuk #2 on our list, it's already cooked
In all seriousness though id rather they fall back a bit and get boqvist/hughes. I'm all about BPA so I dont wanna see them in a position to have to pass on it again because the obvious pick is a winger. - Sabresfan-365
Glad you understand the first sentence in this post is total nonsense. |

Big scouting/exec presence in Barrie last night: Botterill (BUF), Dorion (OTT), Wright (DET), Mellanby (MTL) and Bill Armstrong (STL) all at the game. And Andrei Svechnikov ended up giving them a nice show
Ryan Kennedy - MCGUIZZY
But, you know, they have Tkachuk ranked 2nd according to a Calgary genius. |

It's jeff marek, a national guy for sportsnet who covers prospects. It's not nobody, but it's only one person.

I know it's only a 3 year deal, but the eric staal contract might be one of the best in the last decade.
Holy did Minnesota get full value and then some. |

What? In October/November he had 8 points in 16 games, so double checkmate? - Wetbandit1
Also, why the hell wasn't he producing when the season wasn't over?
Was he already living the fat cat life due to the new contract he signed before the season? |

I can't tell if serious but he was creating chances at an incredible rate early in the season. Probably a little more lazy defensively but as far as production goes the creating has been about the same all year. It's his teammates who had their collective heads up their asses. |

Some people thought they most they could get for him was a 5th rounder...
They got pick 65 in the draft which is the 1st pick in the 3rd rounder and you can usually get a starter there...
But the Bills are going to trade up it seems |

The #Browns 3rd round pick is the 65th pick in the Draft.
That's an incredible move by Brandon Beane. #BillsMafia #Bills

Almost anybody can be replaced given the right trade, but what matters is what comes back in the trade. |

from what i understand he's not good enough so collecting draft capital to move up may be the way to go here. |
