Because that is the most important position on the field when you look historically. Most, in terms of quality, are drafted very high.

Within the past couple of years also, the young just seem prepared to play WAY earlier, plus you get your QB cost controlled for four years and you have option in FA that are WAY easier to fill than QB.

Now the coaching tree is branching out and Minnesota and Philly are having success with throw away QB's.

He also found a Browns team willing to make the move, I want no part of Foles. The Eagles didn't want him the 1st time around and he didn't play well with the Rams or the Chiefs either. He's a product of how good he Eagles are.
