Chris Ballard could very well have the NFL’s most popular phone number the night of April 26.
He tells @ColinCowherd why he'll "take phone calls up to the last minute” to field offers from teams for the No. 3-overall pick:http://indcolts.co/bUEsGJ - gerbe75pts
Genuinely curious to see how the Bills use their picks to inevitably move up. 2 or 3 seems like a stretch. Maybe 10. Or maybe Lamar Jackson. |

Jack Eichel 2018 All star game. He looked like a completely different player when he had elite line mates. Agree that we need a balanced team but I don’t want Jack thinking he needs to do it all because he can’t trust his line mates. The majority of the prospects in out system will fill out the bottom 9. Casey has top line potential - MCGUIZZY
Come on...
that All Star game doesn’t mean squat
Either Okposo, Sam, or our top pick this year will be on Jack’s wing
Not like he’ll be stuck with Pouliot & Nolan
I’m not saying Mittelstadt HAS to be 3C
I said...
“To be determined”
Bc playing him at 3C does have the potential to be a productive idea
Remember when Drury was playing with Hecht & Grier...
and we had Vanek-Roy-Pominville as our 3rd line? |

My bad, 😂😂😂
I’m just saying,
there’s more than one way to put together our lineup next year
I’m guessing Botts wants a 3rd line that scores, based on Pitt’s success over the past few years
And that Housley feels the same
He put Sam at 3C to start the year
Why would it be so outlandish if he put Casey there to start next year?
Just saying it’s an option people |

I’m of the opinion that center prospects should be eased in on the wing. No better place than next to jack. The 2005-2006 roster was absolutely stacked. We could afford to have a 3rd line like that. We aren’t there yet.
The Vanek-Roy-pominville 3rd line was a rare (and awesome) situation

Sure...
but can’t u also “ease him in” at 3C?
The Leafs did with Matthews
Putting him on Eichel’s wing to start comes with pressure too |

I would be open to seeing Casey at 3C, I just think Botts has him set on the wing because hey had him there for world juniors.

Eichel needs to play with competent wingers. Players that can actually keep up with him, catch his passes, expect his passes, finish the chances he creates, and can set him up as well.
He's got to be so frustrated playing with scrubs all the time. He sets up golden opportunities all the time to guys that can't finish or weren't expecting it.
I still see Gionta shanking on all those passes from Jack. |

Enough with this tanking crap. Play to win each game. Make the management and scouts earn their pay by identifying the right players to be drafted. - sabreadvocate1
Yeah, but the right players, i.e. the best players, will be gone before we pick then. 15 games left, stay the course, get a top 3-4 pick. Winning now does nothing for this organization. If its bad attitudes in the locker room, move them in the offseason. If it's bad coaching, move them, too. If it's establishing a new attitude, do that at the start of training camp. But, for God's sake, don't start winning now.
Disclaimer: Unless it's winning against the Leafs. |

Yes we should hopefully draft one of Svech or Z to fill that role. Perhaps Eichel plays between TK and Reinhart. After Mittelstadt was drafted Botterill said in an interview that the Pittsburgh model was to have a team built down the middle. Eichel-ROR-Mittlestadt and we are set down the middle. |

If there was no McDavid and he never was born, was not in that draft the Sabres would not have had their tank plan focused on him at least in 2014 and would not have had such an open tank season in 2015 in my opinion. That says they didn't tank for McEichel as much as for McDavid. That is my opinion. - GilPerreault11
If mcdavid wasn't born?
That's a huge if.
Tmgm thought they were getting mcdavid, so did I
There was a 75% chance we were getting Eichel.
I get that you have formed an opinion, some how taking part of the equation away, changes the senario |

I think jbotts is gonna give Casey a spot on the top line with eichel at the beginning. Kinda like pommer the first part of this season. Get the fans fired up.
Maybe then 3c for a bit like they did with sambo.
I can't wait, it's one more top tier nhl talent to enjoy |

Like Jack 100???? or 90???? - gordong
Hey! He was right about that! Despite not even being a point per game player he totally would've hit 90. 37 points in 27 games? Child's play!
Chalk it up as a win!

There is absolutely no reason to split up Samsonite and ROR. Both players' value is maxed out when they play together. Thank god Housley follows the Three Eyed Raven. |

Around January
In the 16 he had 12G+13A = 25 points
McDavid 3G+11A = 14 points
So checkmate.. |

I got what you were saying.
I have a buddy in tampa and we went to the game.
Eichel was incredible. To see him with other skilled players makes me feel like this tank is very important to land a high end guy.
Sounds like the Russian at #2 would do |
