Hartman another nice assist last night. If you are lucky and I mean really lucky your late first round pick might turn out to be as good as .....Ryan Hartman. - VopatsRash
Hey I remember when I used to get responses like the ones you're getting...
The trick is to no longer getting them is to not be a stupid bumhole. |

Can't wait to see the Preds get smoked in the playoffs. Right now you'd be going up against the Kings, who have actually been to a Cup and won it.
Couple contracts the Preds have to deal with:
Subban- 28, $9 for 4 more years
Bonino- 29, $4 for 3 more years
Turris- 28, $6 for 6 more years
Arvidsson- 24, $4 for 6 more years
C. Smith- 28, $4 for 2 more years
Johansen and Forsberg both have solid contracts, as do the D, but man I can't wait to see some of these chickens come home to roost.
All of this plus it'll be for a team that never wins a cup. Nashville can't get it done. No amount of campy cheers and blissful know-nothing bandwagonners can get you a cup.
Cups are won by teams with elite Hall of Fame talent, not Johansen, Subban, and Smith.
You have no Bergeron, no Kopitar, no Crosby, no Toews, and no Cups. |

I like you guys too.
But some of y'all sure didn't like me very much when I said the Hawks weren't going to be very good this year.
Though I still expected a playoff bubble team at least. |

Turris was a healthy scratch last week. Again, this clown can't even talk IF Trashville gets a SINGLE Cup, much less 3 Cups in 5 years. It's quite pathetic that this troll is amused by talking crap on the Hawks blog. I guess it makes sense though because based on the Predator's blog comments, there are less than 3 Predators fans that have internet access Must get lonely over there with no fans to talk hockey with. Also, how has this account not been banned yet? The troll comes here almost daily to breach the code of conduct....Justin getting this guy banned would be much more appropriate than the ban of Wiz...just sayin.... |

I don't really want him banned, because he keeps coming back to the only people he can really talk hockey with, and that's kind of sad.
Yes he's trolling a bit when the Preds are better than the Hawks for 2 out of the last I don't know how many years, but he knows he'll get walloped in an argument.
Hawks have won 3 in 6, Preds have won 0 in forever. They have never won any significant hardware even on an individual level: no Norris, no Hart, no RR, no Vezina, no Calder, no Adams, no Selke. They've sniffed greatness briefly when Forsberg and Kariya had a cup of coffee there, but besides that have had 'very good' players at best.
This guy can beat his chest all he wants, but in his heart of hearts he knows the Preds are a fledgling organization that hasn't won squat. |

If you ever get to Nashville, I recommend you stop by a couple of the new car dealers in town to see something truely remarkable: it’s the only place in the country where the car manufacturers still sell cars without cup holders. |

you seem to make a habit out of trying to irritate people on the Hawks blog with your inane comments. My fellow bloggers have rightfully sent a number of similar replies back in your direction. In the interest of true sportsmanship, I am going to solicit small donations from some of my fellow bloggers for the following purpose; some time when you a free day or so, drive up to Chicago with your mom and dad. We will use the money we collect to help them get married.

Don’t forget that they’re an organization with a middling fan base and are bottom-ten in attendance. Fans can’t even recognize their own star players (like the Roman Josi video of him interviewing fans outside their arena).
Nashville is a great city and a lot of fun (if you can remember it), but the fact of the matter is, they will ALWAYS be a third-rate NHL city with a questionable fan base, an organization that is perennially stuck in “little brother” mode.
It’s good to see the Preds have some success because the players play hard, play the right way, and have bought into their coach’s system, but they still lack elite talent that they need to get over the hump. And that is why they will continue to fall short in their SC quests.
But hey, at least they have David Poile!!! |

i dont see a problem with any of those contracts other than maybe turris; arvidson's is a steal..that guy has only upside...most of those are expiring with guys in their early 30s'
hawks are stuck with mega $$'s paying guys until their late 30's and early 40's..
i like the preds this year to win...don't like them...but they play a great game; never out of a game and they have great comeback ability and rinne is at the top of his game again...if they survive the west they will win the cup this year...

Teams like Chicago who have been in the Cup Hunt since 09 lose their edge when pride is all they have to play for- it shows in the passing and in shot blocking. Why lose a row of teeth when the team is playing out the string.
If you’re the rookie crop - go for it - guys with three cups not so much.
I do need to say - Sharp has played hard - he’s a real pro. |

Could be cause they have been spinning their wheels forever and are missing the PO again?
He is afraid to move any of his assets for something his team desperately needs. A big time player with some semblance of star power. |
