Maybe his brains are a bit scrambled today after the hits from Chara. Chara defending Kane and DBC - the size difference is almost funny. - pdx2ord
Ha, Dcat could get on Kane's shoulders and not look Chara in the eye |

welcome back john hayden...very nice game...
now make it complete and take care of marchand - bogiedoc
Nice snipe, but he had all day. I was more impressed with Kampf's effort on the play. |

I feel like they've had a lot of close ones at the net, just haven't converted. |

I’ve got no problem with the call up. My issue would come if they sit him at all. With how lots of starters have played recently and stayed in the lineup, there is no reason he should sit. If he makes a mistake, correct him and keep playing him. - Chunk
At this point in the season we miss playoffs. At this point going forward it shoul be first and foremost playing kids and not press box 'ing or sitting players for a mistake. Queeneville better get it or be called out. Try winning with kids. Today so far young guys making a difference. Good, bad...live with it. Gus, Hayden, Highmore scoring. |

19-88-20 without much fire at this point (understandably) but still in the about 4 1/2 games they've been together Toews has 6 points and Kane has 5. Probably could have more if the games actually meant something to the team. |

Should throw big John next to 8+12 and see if their skill sets can complement each other. Speed, size, and playmaking. - EnzoD
I'm actually enjoying the game this afternoon...Hayden looks great - why wasn't he brought up sooner? The Bruins have what 40 wins...and the Hawks are playing decently...except for the special teams...good god that was a dreadful TO by Keith at the blueline for the first one.
Once again Marchand shows his true colors...feel bad for DuClair...done for the year and probably done here.

Only 5 SAT for the Hawks (5x5) while that top line is on the ice as a line through two periods. |

Chara making continual runs at Kane, even after the play has long ago moved on. Intent to injure? Game is meaningless for us. I sit him and let the kids play more minutes. Take away Chara's chew toy. |

That's why I sit Kane for a few shifts. Not sure there are many in the NHL on any team willing to take on Chara.

Chara is still pissed about 2013. Big Z is 40 years old and playing better hockey than both Keith and Seabrook this year. Why is that? The Core has gotten fat and lazy with their big money and past glory. Need to move Seabrook, Keith or Toews to change the culture in the room moving forward. |

Sitting him would make some sense but probably not gonna be happening with 11 forwards. I didn't think Chara is trying to injure him, but he knows Kane can be nullified by playing the body on him. |

He grabbed him and pulled him down backwards as he was skating by. I hope Marchand gets the Karma he deserves very soon. Biggest banana eater in the NHL. - EnzoD
Tomorrow - I hope Marchant gets killed on the ice. Seriously, who would be to blame? |

He's effectively done that. Noticing Kane hanging back outside the play more this first shift. |

To me, if they want to stop young players from jumping ship on the team that drafted them, have a higher dollar value available for players who sign with the team who drafted them. Most of those guys will take the dollars. |

THAT is why Eric Gustafson is a flawed defenseman. That is your guy Gustafson. Also, Seabrook getting burned wide with speed....SHOCKING!!!! |

Usually being able to burn the first year of the first contract is enough, if there’s time left after the college season.
With Sikura - may not be enough time after Northeastern finishes up. |
